Egypt In End Times Prophecy

posted by PrayerWarrior

I thought this week it would be appropriate to jump ahead a ways. In light of the Egyptian uprising. And just how it all fit’s into the end times. There is much said about Egypt in the end times, and none of it good for them or the rest of the world either, but most especially Israel. You see the whole middle east in the end times, indeed the whole world is going to come against Israel, and the Lord assures those who harm Israel,or even bother with it, will suffer greatly for it.

The exact verse is,  Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.  Egypt for the past 30 years has been paid to not come against Israel,by us America. Now Obama is telling Mubarak to step down,to step aside. The Muslim brother hood is trying to gain power in Egypt, and the people want it.

The thing is when the Egyptians get what they think they want, it is going to be even worse, than they think it is right now. The people in Egypt as of this moment are going hungry, there is no place to go get food. When people are incited to violence already before the hunger,it is a lethal combination. I will explain according to prophecies, in Ezekiel, and Isaiah just what is going on, and what is to come  in the future, with Egypt.

I will skip the first verse of Isaiah chapter 19, because that has gone forward to the time of the day of the Lord. We know none of this has happened to the specifications as of yet,and thus must be future occurrences. There have at times been drought in the land of Egypt, but not to this degree. I will also stop at verse 15 due to the same reasons stated earlier, this is the future it speaks of, as in the millennial kingdom, when Christ will reign on the earth. The Millennial kingdom will be a thousand year reign of Christ on the earth, after the battle of Armageddon.

2 “ I will set Egyptians against Egyptians;  Everyone will fight against his brother,  And everyone against his neighbor, City against city, kingdom against kingdom. 3 The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst;  I will destroy their counsel, And they will consult the idols and the charmers, The mediums and the sorcerers. 4 And the Egyptians I will give  Into the hand of a cruel master,  And a fierce king will rule over them,” Says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

Though we do not hear of anyone consulting idols, nor mediums and sorcerers who knows they could be. But we do see city against city all the peoples against one another. They have found their side and that is why they are fighting amongst themselves. God will hand the people over to a fierce king,or leader. They do want a new leader, many of them want the muslim brotherhood to become their leaders. That will be very very bad for Israel, and America, and even the Egyptians.

We know there is a system of government coming that is going to be the whole worlds government. We also know through bible prophecy that the one world leader will be a satan sanctioned leader. He will be like satans own son, called the antichrist. Could we be seeing here in Egypt that leader taking over? Is this the start of the end times, the last 7 years of the world? Do you think I am crazy for saying this? If so your not alone, and that is fine with me. I know I will not win any popularity contests for my speaking the truth. that is fine with me. I am not here to win your approval, but God’s.

5 The waters will fail from the sea,   And the river will be wasted and dried up.  6 The rivers will turn foul;  The brooks of defense will be emptied and dried up; The reeds and rushes will wither. 7 The papyrus reeds by the River, by the mouth of the River,  And everything sown by the River, Will wither, be driven away, and be no more.  8 The fishermen also will mourn; All those will lament who cast hooks into the River,  And they will languish who spread nets on the waters.

We have yet to see the previous four verses fulfilled, but this is going to happen, and not too far in the future. Look at verse 6 and let’s ponder this together. So let’s look at the Nile river. That is the river that this prophecy speaks of that will dry up. The Nile has a dam in Aswan Egypt called the high dam. This high dam was built to improve farming conditions, and in actuality it has been worse for the farming community. Now it says the brooks of defense will be emptied and dried up,and the rivers will turn foul. If water does not flow it becomes stagnant and foul smelling.

If the people who control the dam close it up,and we see here they will, then the farms will dry completely and the rivers and brooks will become stagnant and not flow. The fisherman will no longer have work, there will be no more food grown. The word emptied is the one that really makes me think this is not a drying up as in a natural drying,no it sounds more to me as though this is a man made disaster. The people who fish and cast net’s will languish, meaning they will sit and do nothing.

9 Moreover those who work in fine flax And those who weave fine fabric will be ashamed; 10 And its foundations will be broken  All who make wages will be troubled of soul.   11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools; Pharaoh’s wise counselors give foolish counsel. How do you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of the wise, The son of ancient kings?” 12 Where are they? Where are your wise men? Let them tell you now  And let them know what the LORD of hosts has purposed against Egypt.

Verses 9-12 talks more about the languishing going on in that time. No one has any work none of the people. Let’s face it these peoples lives are, or have been, what they have been, due to the Nile river. It is that countries life blood. The cotton to make clothing and fine linens will have dried up too. All who make wages, will no longer make wages. Imagine the devastation?

All their wise men have become as fools, they give foolish advice, they must be the ones who advise the ruler to shut off the waters of the Nile. But truly that is foolhardy advice. They will bring about their own destruction. We know also though from verse two, that what God is saying in verse 12, He is setting everyone against one another this is what He means here by my purpose for Egypt. And making them make foolish choices thinking themselves so wise I imagine.

13 The princes of Zoan have become fools  The princes of Noph are deceived; They have also deluded Egypt, Those who are the mainstay of its tribes. 14 The LORD has mingled a perverse spirit in her midst; And they have caused Egypt to err in all her work, As a drunken man staggers in his vomit. 15 Neither will there be any work for Egypt, Which the head or tail,Palm branch or bulrush, may do.

It goes on here, from verse 13-15 to just confirm even more in the mind, that this is God’s doing, the one making them make such foolish choices. Caused them to err in all her work. As I said at the first part of this,God will cut in pieces those who burden themselves with Israel, and who come against her.

Now let’s look at bits and pieces of Ezekiel and what that book has to say about Egypt. There is so much about Egypt and the end times that I canot possibly put it all in here,or we would be here for a week, as I tried to explain all of  it .Ezekiel 29:2-16

2 “Son of man, turn and face Egypt and prophesy against Pharaoh the king and all the people of Egypt. 3 Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord:  “I am your enemy, O Pharaoh, king of Egypt—   you great monster, lurking in the streams of the Nile. For you have said, ‘The Nile River is mine;  I made it for myself.’ 4 I will put hooks in your jaws and drag you out on the land with fish sticking to your scales.

5 I will leave you and all your fish stranded in the wilderness to die. You will lie unburied on the open ground, for I have given you as food to the wild animals and birds.  6 All the people of Egypt will know that I am the Lord, for to Israel you were just a staff made of reeds. 7 When Israel leaned on you, you splintered and broke and stabbed her in the armpit. When she put her weight on you, you gave way,  and her back was thrown out of joint. 8 “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will bring an army against you, O Egypt, and destroy both people and animals.

9 The land of Egypt will become a desolate wasteland, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord. “Because you said, ‘The Nile River is mine; I made it,’ 10 I am now the enemy of both you and your river. I will make the land of Egypt a totally desolate wasteland, from Migdol to Aswan, as far south as the border of Ethiopia. 11 For forty years not a soul will pass that way, neither people nor animals. It will be completely uninhabited. 12 I will make Egypt desolate, and it will be surrounded by other desolate nations. Its cities will be empty and desolate for forty years, surrounded by other ruined cities. I will scatter the Egyptians to distant lands.

13 “But this is what the Sovereign Lord also says: At the end of the forty years I will bring the Egyptians home again from the nations to which they have been scattered. 14 I will restore the prosperity of Egypt and bring its people back to the land of Pathros in southern Egypt from which they came. But Egypt will remain an unimportant, minor kingdom. 15 It will be the lowliest of all the nations, never again great enough to rise above its neighbors. 16 “Then Israel will no longer be tempted to trust in Egypt for help. Egypt’s shattered condition will remind Israel of how sinful she was to trust Egypt in earlier days. Then Israel will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.”

I do believe that this whole chapter is talking about the same times as Isaiah chapter 19. Isaiah started off at the end, just like a lot of stories begin at the end and work their way up to the point, and then beyond to finish it off. The finish of course would be the day of the Lord, but this goes on further to bring us 40 years into the millennial kingdom. We know that this prophecy has not been fulfilled as of yet, because Egypt is still a very great nation. No one ever destroyed her so utterly.

It is going to be some very interesting times coming on the scene of the world’s battles. If Egypt falls Israel is going to be very lonely. We know that our country is slowly but surely turning their backs on Israel, and we and England have been their only allies, with Egypt’s president holding off  the Egyptians from attacking Israel,as well as much of the middle east. Now well now things are just getting crazy.

So far since Egyptians have decided they do not want their president or their leader in office any longer,Jordan has dismissed their government, completely got rid of every person in their government and cabinet. Yemen is on the verge of overthrowing their government.

Things are heating up in the middle east and that is the hub if you will, where so much of the end time prophecies are connected to. Saudi Arabia will be over taken in a heart beat if Egypt is taken over by the Muslim brotherhood. Iran wants this all to happen of course, and they all have one thing in common, the destruction of Israel would make them all very happy. We know that cannot happen though. But that is for another time.
God Bless and keep close watch over you,in all you do.

Charity Begins At Home

posted by PrayerWarrior

One of the passages that give rise to the maxim “Charity begins at home” is 1 Timothy 5:8 – But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (Emphasis mine) Now I will show the verse before it so there is no mistaking the meaning of this verse.7 Give these instructions to the church so that no one will be open to criticism. Notice how the NLT says this to the church? What is home? Home is the place we live, home can be work. When we are out of our office and away at another office, and someone asks us for something we do not have with us, we say, oh well I will have to send you that info once I get back to my home office. Meaning the office which we are based out of.

Our church is also called our home church. So if church is also considered our home and our church family is there, shouldn’t our home church also provide (within their means of course) for those who have been faithfully going to the church, tithing at this church, serving at this church? So many churches are looking to provide for the community they are based out of, but neglect their parishioners. I would think that the church one goes to, could and should hopefully, be able to be depended on to help them to eat, especially when there are children involved.

It is amazing to me that some people in some churches tell their parishioners, wow you know that’s too bad that your going through this, give us more money and we will help the community, and God will take care of you. Just pray more and work harder for the Lord, and you will be fine. Meanwhile they are going hungry and going to be living on the streets any moment. Where is the charity in their own house? Charity starts in the home, and then radiates outward from there. I have no problem with churches helping out their community, but only after the people in their own house are eating and clothed and have a roof over their head.

Why is it we do not see our churches doing a special offering from those who have, to give to those who do not have, within their own house? Things are only going to be getting much worse, and unfortunately prosperity preaching does not work. I heard it said by one of my favorite women preachers, that prosperity preaching only works in the United states. That it does not work in other countries, and the folks In other countries would scoff and walk away, if you told them to give more, when they have nothing to begin with. Why is it even being preached here in the USA? We are going to, so very soon, be in the same exact boat as all other countries. Poor and hurting and broken.

I can tell you that these churches who keep demanding more and more money from their parishioners, and who do not help their parishioners either, will lose all of their people. Let me ask, what good is a church if the people have all left? It is not the building nor the leaders that make a church, but the very people who call that church home.

I have also seen many families who are completely uncharitable to one another. Husbands and wives totally and completely lacking in any charity one towards the other. Allowing their adult children to go without because well they made their own bed let them lay in it. Allowing their grandchildren to go without. Charity begins at home, means a whole lot more than just loving them. Also children allowing their parents who have nothing, to go without. Satan is working over time to divide families and we are letting him. There is a very real battle going on these days, and we are allowing satan to win. Look at divorce rates and marriages that are falling apart within churches. Satan is attacking us through one another and no one even seems to see this, or to care.

The Lord warns us in His word, And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12 Then also in 2 Timothy 3:2-5 we are told, 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Children disrespecting parents and parents being rotten to their kids. It is an epidemic. Charity does not mean only to give but Paul meant it in (1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity,) as love. We know according to God the greatest of these is love. Love can conquer all things great and small. Especially loving one another can conquer satan. It can stop him in his tracks from doing damage to us, and our loved ones.

We cannot allow our love for one another as well as the body of Christ to grow cold. We must love one another and be strong together. Remember united we stand divided we fall? Well it is so true!! In every way it is true. Our government is now working openly to divide the people of this country. The greatest country on earth is going to fall and break, and it is going to be one of the worst countries in the world. All because we have forgotten what true charity is. We must use our faith, and never lose our hope, and especially never stop giving to each other, and loving one another.

When the New Testament saints started to build the church, (not the building, but the people) everyone pooled their belongings, and whatever was left over, after everyone ate, and had their needs met, then they went and did what they could for others. Only though if they came to Christ. They were a community. In this day and age if a church takes care of people to bring them into the church, and then does nothing to sustain them further, once they have them to count as another body, they will lose those people too. I do not believe for a moment that God is looking for numbers as much as he is looking for those who will keep growing, and stay on the straight and narrow path. If a church is consumed with winning more folks to their church, just for the body count, and does not worry about maintaining a relationship with those already there, they will lose those parishioners as well.

How much are you giving, in your work,in your home and in your church? What is your giving going to? Is it going to your family members? Your coworkers, or the actual members of your home church? We need to make sure those we love, and whom we are brothers and sisters with, are being cared for. I heard a preaching about 3 months ago now that blew me away, and made me want to puke on the preachers head. This preacher said the sign of a good Christian is someone who increases their tithe by 10% every year, until they are giving 90% of their earnings. I mean how disgusting and hungry for money can one be? If God wanted more than 10% of our earnings He would have certainly said so!!

Another thing I need to say here is this. Prosperity preaching is heresy. God says it is harder for a rich man to get to heaven than it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. Those odds are impossible. So how is it that people are buying this garbage? How can anyone think God wants them to be rich? Basically it is like people are saying God lied to you in the bible, when they tell you He wants you to be rich. Why with one verse would He say it is impossible basically for a rich man to receive eternity and then tell you He wants you to be rich? Wouldn’t that in essence be Him saying,I don’t want anyone coming to eternity?

In our hardships is where strength is built. God Bless you all and keep you ever charitable and loving towards one another. Love in Christ Jesus, Tammy

What is my purpose?

posted by PrayerWarrior

Have you ever asked this question,”What is my purpose”? Ask it no more, the answer has been in your bible all along.
Your purpose cannot be found inside yourself for one thing. You must realize that you were purposed before the foundations of the earth were layed out. God purposed you to love you. Meaning God made you on purpose because he wanted to love you and have you love him in return.
Your job is not your purpose, nor is parenting ,though this could be a part of God’s plan for your life,it is not your purpose.

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to  adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:4-6
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered….”  John 15:4-6

“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. “  Ephesians 1:11-12
that His people would love Him most of all,This is what we are purposed for. To love Him as well as to be loved by him.
“…’you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:29
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”  John 14:15
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:20-21
“If  you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”  John 15:10-11

-  that we love each other as He has loved us (that means demonstrating God’s love to each other, not conforming to popular culture in order to please each other)

This is his plan for us, once we have realized our purpose now we can become part of his plan.

“…the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:22-23
“Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I labor….” Colossians  1:28, 29
“Be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.”   1 Peter 3:8-9
“You, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  For  all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Galatians 5:13-14

Always be aware there are false teachers out there do not be deceived.
“…charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.”  1 Timothy 1:3-7

Our purpose is not, no matter how much the world tells you,to gain all the goods of the earth, meaning we are not going to win if we have the most toys. Our purpose is not to be popular among men  we are to be as aliens among the people of earth. Not conforming to mans ways but to God’s ways.  “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”  Colossians 3:1-4
“He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”  2 Corinthians 5:15
We must die to self and daily pick up our cross.
“…unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also….
“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” John 12:23-28

Once our purpose is realised we are to repent and turn from darkness to the Light
“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   For the promise is to you and  to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39
that we follow Him and share His suffering.

We will suffer somethings at some time, probably not in  the far future for our belief and our love of Christ. Do not fear that, the Lord will sustain you and reward you for your endurance in the end.
“For to you  it has been granted on behalf of Christ,  not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake…”  Philippians 1:29
“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: ‘Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth;’ who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.” 1 Peter 2:20-22
do not be ashamed of  the testimony of our Lord, nor of me  His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling…. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” 2 Timothy 1:8-12
“…the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

And finally, “‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”  1 Peter 5:5 If you do not know how to humble yourself, which honestly was my hardest point when I was not yet saved, then pray tell God you are seeking him.Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: If you seek him with all your heart he is faithful to manifest himself to you.If you knock upon His door in heart felt search, He will open the door to you. No matter your sins or transgressions He will grant you pardon and allow you entrance to His Kingdom.

“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:  that  the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places….”   Ephesians 1:15-20

Thats right friends and brothers and sisters I am pointing my finger at YOU!!!!
God Loves you and desires a wonderful and close relationship with you no matter your religion or past beliefs. God’s purpose for creating YOU! was simply, to love you. When Jesus was on the cross taking on the sins of the world, he thought about YOU!!!!
love in CHRIST JESUS, Prayer Warrior/Tammy
