Count The Cost of being the Lord’s

posted by PrayerWarrior

When I came to the Lord, I said Father here am I send me! He told me to count the cost, then put before my face many scriptures that showed me to really consider what it is to be used of the Lord to be called by the Lord. I will share as many as I can here with you and how it worked in my heart and mind to prepare me for a walk that was worthy of the Lord and His will and ways. He showed me one of the first things was to really consider what happens if you turn away from God and showed me 2 Peter 2:20-22

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. They are filthy again with the cares of the world and the pursuits of this life. This life is not about us! This life is about God and how much we love Him.

If we want to spend eternity in the presence of God, then we must live only for Him, here in this time now. Think about it, why would God want anyone who does not live in Him, for Him, and their life all about seeking to know Him better? Why would He want anyone who is not barely in love with Him? Those who pursue their own pleasures in this life are not a giving lover. This is a most intimate deep relationship we are to be pursuing with God the Father, through Christ Jesus! Not just oh when I have time God, I’ll give you one day a week take it or leave it okay! That does not work.

God is looking for sold out bought up servant’s who are willing vessels for His grace. Overflowing out of our lives into others lives. He wants to pour so much into you that you have no choice but to pour out onto others, from the abundance in your heart. So He tells us to count the cost. It is up to us to do that very thing. Because as Peter showed us it is worse for those who walked with God and had a bit of knowledge of Him who did not continue in their first love of Him, and keep on pursuing Him.

He wants us to forever keep seeking after Him, through His word, through many prayers, through tons of conversation with Him. He wants a close personal relationship with each of us, that suits perfectly to who we are! That’s right God tailors your relationship by how much you give to this relationship between you and He. We set the pace of our relationship with Him, not the other way around. But Isn’t this all about searching and seeking to know the object of your desire better, the most important thing in our whole life?

We have a whole entire eternity to look forward to if we love God with every ounce of our being, but if we turn away {and do not let anyone fool you with vain lies that say you cannot be removed from the book of Life you most certainly can, and will be cast into hell for it} He will turn away from you, and Jesus will not confess your name before God the Father. God demands commands even that we love Him so that He may reward us lavishly forever. No two days the same everything new and amazing every moment for eternity. Peace and joy so overwhelming if we were in our mortal flesh we would disintegrate with the power of it.

But if we refuse and reject then an eternity of burning and suffering forever. Where worms eat you and never die, and you never die. When every opportunity you ever had of coming to the Lord and the knowledge of the truth, rides before your memory with palpable regret, forever and ever. Hating yourself knowing this is where you made yourself have to go. Knowing this is what you deserve for not wanting to be the Lord’s in this life. All for a short life that really amounted to no meaning at all in it, because you were so unhappy unsatisfied unfulfilled throughout this life and all you had to do was listen to those who tried so ardently to tell you you were in danger.

Yeah what an eternity that is!

Anyway back to the scriptures. Luke 14:25-35 25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

When the Lord says he who has ears to hear let him hear, we really want to pay close attention. This is a cue for us to give our ears over to the Holy Spirit so He can fill us in. The Lord cue’s us in when we are supposed to pay extra special attention to something He has said with either, I tell you the truth, or repeating something 2 or 3 times. Verily Verily I say unto you is another cue to pay close attention to His words.

Throughout the word we can find these things in Jesus words. But what you can clearly see is in the word the Lord used very few words to get the message out. I honestly personally believe He did this so as to confuse and confound those who are not filled with the Holy Spirit. The bible is foolishness to the perishing, those who do not have the power of the Holy Spirit cannot get the rest of the meaning, because it is Holy Spirit discerned. The rest of the story get’s filled in (for me personally) as I study intensely the word for myself. Having no human being filling me in on the word and it’s meaning, is the only way I can do the word.

When I have heard others views, ideas and understanding, I always come to the conclusion that they do not understand the word. I cannot sit idly by and accept other’s teaching and must go study whatever topic half to death. Using tools for great in depth bible study is important no man’s ideas but verses that pertain to the same subject matter, works wonderfully. A great cross reference study bible is always a great tool. There is also sites I use that have wonderful cross reference bible verses on the side called, bible hub, and then one of my favorites is info.bible.com.

Looking back at those bible verses in Luke let’s go through them by threes? Jesus was sharing with a great amount of people before He went to the cross even, that we must pick up our cross and drop everything else and follow Him. If we cannot do that because of loyalties to our family and or friends then He tells us simply, you are not worthy of me. We should love Him so much that our love of others looks like hatred, when compared. Verses 25-27.

Verses 28-30 speak on the fact that before we would begin to build anything we would need to make sure we have enough to finish the project, or risk looking like a fool. The risks of looking like a fool are small when you think of the fact that starting in the Lord and not going on with Him forever till you either die or come to the end of this world, is a very poor idea. It shows that you were not really thinking of the possibility of being unable to complete your mission, for lack of trusting the Lord to do it all. We would not look bad to people, but to the Lord, and looking like a failure to the Lord is the worst thing that could happen to us.

He expects us to trust Him and obey Him, at all times. He expects us to come to Him who is capable beyond our human understanding, to handle everything for us by living in us and through us. He is not looking for part time children and or shared custody of us. He wants us to deliver ourselves over to His hands fully and completely, without reservation and without pulling ourselves in and out of that very capable hand, whenever we feel it is too much or whatever else would pull us away from Him. To be fully immersed in Him and building daily our relationship with Him.

We must dedicate time to Him and pursuing Him. Of course He knows we must work for a living and to do all things that pertain to life, but in Him is where strength courage and stamina is really realized. So that we walk through this life in the way He wants us to. Not allowing depression any quarter, not allowing our own weaknesses and or illnesses to slow us stop us, or bring us to a halt in our walk with Him. Which brings me to another point. Satan throws everything at us but the kitchen sink, we cannot allow him and his antics to derail our walk. We cannot allow feelings of hurt and anger to stop us from moving always forward in the Lord.

Death should not even slow us down, the death of our loved ones I mean. We do not mourn as the world mourns, 1 Thess 4:13-14. We sorrow of course when we lose one we love, but just pick up in the Lord trusting Him that your loved one is in His capable hands, and move forward, being built up and strengthened in Him. He takes our cares upon Himself if and when we allow Him to. Picking our own thoughts and feelings back up on a constant basis, we must repent of that, and drop it all at His feet again and again. We are human beings who make mistakes, and this is one of those huge mistakes that causes us grief and sorrow. Picking our problems back up and worrying them in our minds and hearts, is a great way to lose our joy and peace in the Lord.

Verses 31-33. Speaks about going to war and counting out how it will all go down. Basically when one is planning to go to war against another kingdom or government, or country, one would do intense study of one’s foe, and how many men he will come to meet you at war with. It is telling us plan in advance for every contingency, so as not to fall away and lose. In this case it is losing your eternal rewards and spiritual death occurs, when one leaves off the Lord and His will and ways, before the race (so to speak) is over, being called disqualified by the Lord, is a very scary thing.

We must put aside every desire we have every thought that is self-contained, and everything that we think in order to put Him inside us. If we walk away He will pull back, if we stay in Him, then He will remain in us and with us. We cannot afford to be cut off from the Lord, or our condemnation will be swift. In a vision I had a couple years ago now, I saw the children of God walking in His shadow and the forces of evil just on the outskirts of God’s shadow, waiting ever watching for those to step out of line, and then devouring them once they did step out from His shadow covering. It was horrifying to watch as the fear and horror and invasion of themselves occurred unto death.

These people, the look on their faces was unimaginable as they were consumed by evil, lest evil lose a new disciple back to the Lord, so they were destroyed immediately. I do not want to see that happen. Hell is chock full of good people, people who even read their bible thinking they were saved not knowing truth for themselves. Many people, not all but most people who claim Christ, do not know the first thing about being saved or about being born again and about living for the Lord, and not themselves.

Gay people molesters whatever you want to cook up in your mind as sin, none of these is more sin than any other thing. Sin is sin before the Father and he cannot look upon sin in any form. From the mildest in your mind to the most deplorable sin they are all sin and equal in the eyes of God. I love my gay friends and family, but am under no delusion they live to please their sinful flesh, they will go to hell. The same with liars and thieves and whore mongers murderers, sin is sin, and living without God means going to hell. Even those who are gay and claim Christ is theirs, they don’t know how wrong they are. Living for ourselves is not picking up your cross daily.

Living for God is self sacrificing. It is dropping your hopes dreams and mostly your fleshly desires at the door. Every morning when we awaken we renew our dedication to the Lord. A new day another day to get closer to God not living to fulfill your most base desires, but living to please Him, which is to love Him with all our heart soul and mind, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Truly I must confess the second one is so hard in this day and age, but we cannot afford to lose the love or we are worth nothing at all.

The Lord showed me many verses that show what happens if you walk away from Him.
Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. Read that carefully. Read it a few times taste it sound it out as you read it think on it and understand He will throw you in the fire if you walk away from Him.

He wants that we all repent confess our sins and ask forgiveness for them. When He sent Jesus, Jesus did not die so you could be a sinner forever more, He died so you can be set free from sin live a Holy life and be alive with Him forever more in the Kingdom in New Jerusalem. He died so you can be purified in and through Him. That you no longer live your life, but hand it back to Him as payment for His life.

God is not looking for anyone who is not interested in walking out their every moment of life in Him. He is looking for the most devoted bride He can find, no other will do for His son. He is not coming back right now because we are a big bunch of filthy people with our most amazing righteous works being as filthy as dirty rags. People think they are so good and don’t even know the Lord at all and or what is His will and ways, but they believe they will be removed any moment, how foolish to ignore the word of God.

Those people who claim Christ and show they are not His, are so blatantly not anywhere near the child of God they call themselves. The cannot imagine how very clear it is to see that they do not know the truth for themselves that they indeed have demons doctrines and false teachers mentalities. We must know the Lord for ourselves this is how He teaches us to walk in Him every step we take in this life.

We must be sold out to Him entirely body soul and heart. This is the only thing God accepts, is those whose whole life is not dedicated to pursuing joy and happiness on earth, but they who pursue God and seek more and more knowledge of Him daily. Their only mission in this life is to know Him more, to be moved closer to Him in spirit and heart. To walk in the very power that raised Christ from the dead. Not a powerless useless life all done in our own strength.

When we are sick that is satan working against us to slow us down. Ill health does not come from the Lord, it comes from the enemy, we are to rebuke it and cast it off of us, commanding it to leave us and then walk in the knowledge that in Christ is no illness, no infirmity! He is whole and complete and is not sick or feeble, so if He lives in us and through us, then we are His vessel. There is no holes so to speak in His pitcher. He overflows us with grace and knowledge and wisdom and we from that abundance pour out on others lives, deliberate pouring out so we do not miss our targeted empty glass, that just waits to be filled.

So in closing, Do not come to the Father thinking to use Him when you need Him, and then the rest of the time relegate Him to the back of your heart life and mind. He will allow you your free will, it is up to you to make sure you find out from the Father how not to falter. It is up to us to maintain our life in Him and grow our connection with Him. We control our relationship with the Father, He does not. We choose how close and how deep we go into this relationship with Him. But oh friends brothers sisters in Him, the rewards of being called His friend and Confidante are priceless and plentiful.

Love God, Love others!

posted by PrayerWarrior

I am astounded beyond words with how insane things are. I knew love would be called hate, I knew hate would be called love, but there is so much more to that whole story than we see.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The Holy Spirit fills in the blanks for us. God never says more than what needs saying. His word does not mince words, it needs no more words than it has, because in order to get the rest of the story, the complete understanding of that concept, One must have the Holy Spirit living within them!

If the Holy Spirit resides inside you, you will have what is not written, in your remembrance. You will understand what is not said, forewarned is forearmed, and having understanding of the Lord, His will and ways, and the word.

Of course growth happens at all times in the Lord, we progress from tests and trials along the way, growing in understanding and perseverance, wisdom and knowledge.
I say all this because I knew this was all coming, because I love the Lord and He speaks messages to my heart in one package uploaded to my heart. It is truly a complete packet of knowledge, a real revelation of understanding that is quite mind blowing.

That is called blessing! The more of these packages you receive, the More you need, more of Him. God is so much more addicting than anything life has to offer us. In Him is Life, real loving life is found!
No matter what we go through, He is there! Holding us up, moving us, as long as we allow Him the reigns of our life, He will see us through it!

Tests are hard, but the reward is a closer walk with Him.
I don’t know about anyone else bt I myself want to serve Him with every ounce I have within and without me to give. Hot because I am doing extraordinary works, because that’s not what i am talking about. It is because I want to be pleasing to the Father. i want to be a sweet odor before His nostrils.

My life is my only thing I have to give Him, and this is exactly what He wants from us, our life! Every part of our lives is sacrificed to Him, because this is the only thing we have to give Him back for His extraordinary love.
I want to love God as much as He loves me, or die trying! I know I can never ever achieve that kind of love, but I am surely going to give it the best I’ve got.
We are to live a life of complete sacrifice of self and to self. Die each day to yourself, by picking up your cross, and deciding to die to self and live through Christ, who lives through us!

Allow Him to work in your every part of you, be His body mind, and soul. You cannot go wrong by giving Him yourself from the top of your head to the soles of your feet and everything in between, be His!

If you don’t live with His Presence, every moment of every day of your life, why would He then want to have His every moment near you who could not sacrifice yourself to Him, for eternity?

Sold out is what the Lord our God is looking for. All His all the time every day every night no matter what you are doing in life at work at home in the car at the store, with friends, still be His bride!

A Bride is always looking to please her man, this keeps the honeymoon faze going for pretty much two years. But we are to be the bride of the Lord, every second of every moment of every day!!! We look to please our man, and the great thing is? The husband is so appreciative of the Brides love for Him and devotion to want to please Him, He does the same thing for her.

Our relationship with the Lord goes only as deep as we make it to be. If we are aloof He will be aloof. If we are shy, He will be shy of us. If we are angry? He will be angry with us.

I will only make my relationship with the Lord deeper closer and clearer every day. I am not shy to say He is my Lord and king, I shout it practically. I want everyone everywhere to love the Lord our God, as much as He loves us.
We would see an amazing thing take place if there was revival of the fear and love and devotion to the Lord that we should have, without being told by anyone, because we should be in the word to the nth degree. Eating the word, swallowing it whole, gulps of it!

We need to live in the truth fully, or we are not His. He has two churches in the book of Revelation that He has no rebuke for5 churches He tells repent or else he will take away their part from the kingdom of God.
Of the two churches that there was no rebuke for? One of them will suffer greatly in the end times. Many will be jailed and many will be killed. One church is so deeply devoted to God that she will walk unscathed, through the tribulation, the church of Philadelphia.

I asked the Father show me Lord this church of Philadelphia, what do these people look like? How do we live this life to be protected through the tribulation? He said Psalm 91! I read it, I cried! It is not a long read, it is something that should have each word savored, and weighed carefully, for the full measure to sink in, of these amazing promises of God, to His deeply devoted Bride, who lives in the secret place of the Lord.

Man that was a run on sentence! But it needed to be said that way.

He showed me a great vision one night of those walking in His shadow, and how evil could not even see them, but the second they looked out, they took their eyes off Jesus? Evil saw them peeking out, and snatched them up, ate them up!! It was a horrifying vision, part of the worst one i have ever had.

I want to learn now how to walk in Him so deeply, that I am hidden from evil! That takes devotion to His every desire of you. Which church of the 7 in Revelation do you spiritually fit into?

Are you just barely scraping by on the fringes of a relationship with Him? Maybe you are into Him a lot, but are doing things no pure deeply living in Him child would do?
Or are you the laodicean church who says eh we are secure we know no way to lose out on God i said a prayer i’m good i have need of nothing i am rich in Him, whom He will spit out of His mouth?

Examine those churches see what they are like, and then choose the church you want to fit into spiritually, and pray to be of that church!!

Learn the word of the Lord people for yourselves. No man’s understanding is the same as yours. Our personal relationship with God is our own tailor made for us, each individual! We are all different and unique and think differently, but God reads our thoughts all the time.

God knows how to reach you so deeply so tenderly you can’t help but fall in love with Him, and be devoted to Him entirely, and walk in a security that cannot be shaken. His love surrounding you coming out of your pores, towards other people and yourself? There is no feeling on earth that can come close to touching that feeling.

We do not live by feelings But when God gives you feelings of a certain kind, man oh man it’s always earth shattering, and addicting. I MUST HAVE MORE!!

The Law Is Death, We Are Not Under The Law

posted by PrayerWarrior

As I was hearing from the Lord about doing this article I cannot tell you how many people came after me about this very subject I knew for sure the Lord wanted this done and now! I have not written for my blog for a long time but have found I just must do this now, as it was insane how inundated I have been by attacks for my not doing the law.

We are not under the law, we cannot be saved nor sanctified by the law. As a matter of fact those who have put themselves under the law again, have fallen from grace!! Gal 5:4 Here are some great scriptures to explain this understanding!

Acts 15:10, Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
We only ever knew that we were sinning because of the law, which no one ever was able to live up to the standards of the law. Never was there anyone who could do it wholly and or perfectly thus the animal sacrifices and the times the Lord had set for the people to atone for their sins by the shedding of blood.

Jesus being the pure, sinless, flawless, unblemished, perfect lamb of God, was the one time only needed sacrifice, to free us from the letter of the law which was itself flawed. The law was just a foreshadowing of Our need for the Savior. Jesus work on the cross has set those who have accepted His sacrifice, and have repented of their sin and continually walk in contrition and repentance, free!

Romans 4:14-15 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. See here? If we continue to act out the law and hold ourselves up to the standard of the law, then grace is worthless and Jesus work was not according to you, enough to atone for your sins.
Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. How do people really fool themselves into thinking that this does not mean what it says? Unless the Lord says this is a parable it is meant to be taken literally.

Romans 7:1-12, Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

{I just have to add here, to those who were divorced before they became a Christian, When you repented and were baptized in the water, you died with Christ to your old life, and were born anew into the life of Christ, that life before your true repentant conversion, does not exist further. You are no longer alive to self, but now alive in Christ, as Gal 2:20 says no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me. So the old you with it’s past sins died as surely as if your body were put in the grave!}

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

It goes on to say that even though men had the law they kept sinning anyway, the law is to show that we need the savior because we cannot live up to the law. Paul was showing us in verses 13 through to the end, that in himself he could not do the law even though he wanted to do the law he could not for the things he did not want to do (not sin) he did anyway, and the things he did want to do he did not do in his own strength. But thank God for Christ who can do it all without sinning.

Romans 8:2-3 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Romans 10:1-4 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

See the above? Christ put an end to the law. His finished work on the cross fulfilled the requirements of the law. It is finished is what He said! Meaning I have done all that needed to be done in order to save my people to bring them back into a close personal relationship with myself, that i may save them. He wrote now the laws on our hearts and without having to outwardly do them, we automatically know without being told how to live up to God’s standards by surrendering our lives to the Lord to be Lord over our lives to reign in every part of our lives.

Paul was hoping and pleading for Israel to become saved, not by doing the law which no man could do but by accepting Christ, that they might be saved not to go back and do the law but to move forward in Christ’s body. Okay the Lord just said to me this very simple thing, if Christ is the head of the body and you are a part of the body why are you contrarily not allowing Christ the head, to lead the body? Why is Christ the head on the body with the brain, not then allowed to control all members of that body?

He is sinless He is righteous, He is perfect and it is no longer you who lives, {an island separate from the rest of the body, which belongs to Christ} but we are all to walk as one in Him. He does not do the Law, He is the law, He is the word. So our freedom from the law comes by walking in Him. He is the Sabbath rest, walking in Him makes us keeping the Sabbath without outwardly observing one day. Besides which, I personally feel every single day that I am worshiping Him and loving Him, no one day is holier than any other!

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stone, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather more glorious?

2 Corinthians 3:9-11, 14,15, For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
14 but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.
Do you supposed Christian who is under the law by your own choosing, have that veil upon your heart? You do! You are blinding yourself to truth! Repent of your not believing Christ was and is enough!

Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified., 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God! Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 3:1-4,10-13 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 3:16-19, 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. This shows us and means Abraham was promised all of the land He was promised the earth as His inheritance, not because of the law, but because he believed the Lord when He spoke to him.

Gal 3:21-29 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 5:1-4 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Philippians 3:4-8, 4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

1 Timothy 1:8-11 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Hebrews 7:16-19 who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchisedec. 18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Hebrews 8:7-8 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: He was talking about His death and resurrection!
Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

To try and keep the laws is foolishness of the highest order. We are shown repeatedly through Paul the apostle to the gentiles, that the law is not good. James Tells us if you transgress one part of the law, lie steal cheat do the Sabbath wrong, then you are guilty of transgressing the whole of the law, and are then guilty of it all. Look the word tells us over and over again that the law is for those who are not in the Lord they will be held to the standards of the law but not those who are in Christ. Jesus justifies us not the law. Jesus stands before the Father and says can’t hold one sin against this one he/she is mine! I paid the price for them.

All this said friends, that does not however give us the right to go and sin for if we willfully sin that is considered walking all over the son of God and you will be repaid! It remains that those who walk all over the son will burn for eternity. Is eternity worth it to you to be wrong? You might instead of seeking men’s thoughts and ideas about the Lord and all of His teaching in the word, seek the lord in prayer. Always asking for forgiveness of your sins that your prayers may be heard!

Blessings in the Lord

Lot Was A Righteous Man!

posted by PrayerWarrior

You know it vexes me no end that people think Lot was saved only to please Abraham. Lot was a righteous man we are told in Peter. Lot did not partake of the immorality of Sodom and Gomorrah. He was vexed by their sins and their disgusting way of life. So He lived among the heathen and the depraved, we do too! Look here is the meaning of vex = [veks] verb 1.to irritate; annoy; provoke: His noisy neighbors often vexed him. 2.to torment; trouble; distress; plague; worry: Lack of money vexes many. 3.to discuss or debate (a subject, question, etc.) with vigor or at great length: to vex a question endlessly without agreeing. 4.to disturb by motion; stir up; toss about. 5.to afflict with physical pain.

I imagine Lot standing in the door way of his house looking at all going on in and around the town he lived in, shaking his head in consternation, much like we ourselves do at all that is going on around us.. Look he was a business man he was wealthy and prosperous. And what does anyone care where their money comes from? Being a business owner, I do not care if the people who patronize my business are sinners or saved, I will take all their money for services rendered. Of course I enjoy those people who are the Lords and who come and visit, but they are treated no differently than anyone else. Besides which, I never know whose mind might be changed from sinner to saint, by my loving them.

Let’s just reason together and study the life of Lot, in Genesis it does not say too much, but let’s see what the Lord would show us, and have us know. Gen 12:4-5 4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. (So let’s then look at this, the Lord told Abram to leave his fathers land and go to the land the Lord would show him. He took lot with him. Does not say anything as of yet about righteous or not.)

Abram at this time was coming upon the land of Egypt and knowing his wife Sarai was stunningly beautiful he was sure that the king or the men of Egypt, would have him killed to take his wife as their own. Abram lied, Yet Abram was righteous! Think of David and his adultery, as well as then having the man killed to hide his perfidy, yet the Lord called him (David) a man after the Lords own heart. You sin I sin we all sin, but the difference is we ask forgiveness. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, you can’t and neither can I.

Gen 13:1-4 Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South.2 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journey from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, 4 to the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord. 5-7 Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents. 6 Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together. 7 And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizzites then dwelt in the land. So there was strife between abrams men and Lot’s but none between Abram and Lot, they reasoned together to work this out no anger no hard feelings.

Gen 13:8 So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.” 10 And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. 12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord. (Still though it mentions that the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked, still no mention of Lot being a sinner or anything of the sort.)

Gen 14 speaks of Lot being kidnapped and held prisoner, and Abram goes and rescues Lot. Still no mention at all of Lot being bad, as a matter of fact the kings that won this war against Sodom and Gomorrah took all of Lot’s goods live stock and everything he owned.11 Then they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way.12 They also took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. 14:14 Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. 15 He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus. 16 So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.

Look at that huh? Abram had 318 trained servants, not soldiers and they defeated the 5 kingsand all their men, who had just won out against four kings. NICE! Nothing more is mentioned of Lot for a little while till chapter 19. In chapter 18 the Lord who had just visited with Abraham was thinking within Himself that He would and should share with Abraham that He was there on a mission to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. For the wickedness of it was so great, that the cries coming from within it, reached heaven. I do honestly believe it was the Holy Spirit visiting with Abraham for we know men cannot live upon seeing the Lord our God. Chapter 19 is where we see Lot mentioned again.let’s then read the story and see if you can see where Lot might have shown himself to be a wicked and or sin filled man.

Gen 19:1-4 Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them,he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. 2 And he said, “Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant’s house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.”And they said, “No, but we will spend the night in the open square.” 3 But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4 Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. 5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” Lot then offers his two daughters up instead of the Lord’s host.

This was not a sin it makes no mention of Lot being a sinner or doing anything wrong he was making a major and bold offer. Though I am sure he did hope in his heart, these disgusting vile men would not accept this offer. Would we not do something similar in order to protect these which we knew were glowing glorious beings from the Lord? Let’s go on. 6 So Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him, 7 and said, “Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly! 8 See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof.” (Not to mention there was no law as of yet. Morals were inbred in people and if they acted against that then it was sin. The Lord built us with morals from the beginning.)

9 And they said, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.” (They called Lot a judgmental jerk in essence in these verses. They then wanted to do some serious damage to Lot, but the angels who were there struck those men blind after ripping Lot into the house with them. Lot was sure he was doing right by the Lord and the Lord certainly did more than right in His dealings with Lot.) So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door. 10 But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. 11 And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.

12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place! 13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking. 15 When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” 16 And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. I can only guess that Lot was thinking of all he owned as well as his other daughters and everything going to be utterly and completely lost to him, which is why the angels had to actually grab his hand and pull him into action.

17 So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” 18 Then Lot said to them, “Please, no, my lords! 19 Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die. 20 See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.” 21 And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. 22 Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” (Here now is where it get’s interesting. The Lord would not ever save an unrighteous man. He never has before.)

23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar. 24 Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. 26 But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. She must have looked back with longing for her life that she was leaving behind, not to mention her children who were going to be destroyed due to their lack of trusting their father and or father in-law. The fact that Lot’s wife was disobedient to what she was told straight up, do not look back, cannot be missed in this as well. Disobedience is death brothers and sisters. To fool yourselves into believing that God does not expect perfect obedience is pure folly on anyone’s part. Jesus mentions something to this effect in Luke 14:33, So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

27 And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord. 28 Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace. 29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt. (Now here is where people get all self righteous and hypocritical is in the rest of Lot’s story. In chapter 19 we see what became of Lot and his two daughters.) 30 Then Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters were with him; for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave. 31 Now the firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man on the earth to come in to us as is the custom of all the earth. So they devised a plan. This was not Lot’s plan, and nowhere does it say that He sinned or did anything against the Lord.

32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father.” 33 So they made their father drink wine that night. (Now think on this for a moment, the man had lost all he had everything he owned he was now poor and destitute, his wife became a pillar of salt.He lost his other children, this is how his daughters would have been able to have him drink wine. I can only imagine they were cajoling, come father no more crying just drink some wine to make you forget for a little while that you may rest.) And the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.34 It happened on the next day that the firstborn said to the younger, “Indeed I lay with my father last night; let us make him drink wine tonight also, and you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father.”35 Then they made their father drink wine that night also. And the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. He had no clue what happened. And though I do not want to sound like a broken record there were no laws at that time. How could Lot be breaking laws if there wre none?

Another fact I want to bring up is this, Abraham married his half sister. Same father different mother.19:36 Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father. 37 The firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab; he is the father of the Moabites to this day. 38 And the younger, she also bore a son and called his name Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the people of Ammon to this day. If anyone sinned in this it was the two daughters. They produced sons both of them who became rulers and their ancestors still to this day rule the lands they had taken as their own. (Ammon is the capitol city of Jordan in our modern day, and Moab is also in Jordan. Now think on these verses by Peter whom the Holy Spirit filled with knowledge and wisdom, as well as remembrance for all that Jesus told the Apostles.)

2 Peter 2:4-11 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. Let’s see God did not spare anyone who was immoral and unrighteous. No God will not ever save anyone for anyone else’s sake.

This clearly spells out if you are not living for the Lord, working your best for Him, and trying with all you have not to sin, you are doomed! The angels who are so much higher than we are I mean they are in the very presence of God Himself were not spared for their siding with satan, what makes you lowly human think he will spare you? Grace sets us free from bondage of sin but if you go back to it you have re-enslaved yourself. Your name will be blotted out of the book. Lot was a righteous man to say he was not and the Lord saved him anyway is pure garbage and has no part of it in the truth. God will not ever esteem any man above Himself. God knows us better than we know ourselves, and knows humans only see what He has found it good to show them. Now you will not lose your salvation if you repent of your sins, but repentance is an ongoing thing through out our lives. The Holy Spirit will clearly show us what we are doing wrong, he will sear your conscience, to bring you to the realization that this is not acceptable. It is when you just keep sinning and vex the Holy Spirit that you will once for all time lose your salvation.

God knows us as I said, better than we know ourselves, you cannot fool the Lord. When I am having a hard time with something then I cry out to the Lord, help me see Lord the error that is causing me to put doors in between us, and He does. We must continually as long as we sin ask forgiveness. Nothing with the Lord is taken for granted though He knows your thoughts and will most times answer before you ask, He still expects you to ask. It is the same with forgiveness, you must always ask for it no matter how much you have sinned, or how little it is always best as Jesus said, to ask forgiveness when He told the disciples of the perfect prayer that was one of the things He said was good to pray. In Fact He quantifies that part in the verse right after the perfect prayer, Look here at Matthew 6 verses 9-15.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Then you can also look at the parable of the servant who was forgiven his debts and then went out and gave hell to one who owed him. Then all he had was taken from him and he was thrown into prison, never to be forgiven again, Matthew 18:21-35. Look people when thinking to yourself is this sin or not well all you have to do is compare it to love, does love think this, does love look at this, does love feel this, does love do this? If the answer is no then if you do it that is sin. Love is now what we measure sin against. Let’s not forget love covers a multitude of sin. 1 Peter 4:8.

If you love you will not cheat, steal, lie, be jealous of, you will not kill, nor blaspheme, you will not spread around rumors or gossip. As the time get’s closer and closer for the tribulation we are going to find loving so much the harder, we will be vexed like Lot was on all sides. We are all vexed as it is, and it is just going to get worse and worse, if we lose the Love we have lost the salvation, given it up, passed it out of our grasp or understanding. We must measure our every thought word and deed by the measure of love. If love would not do it then you had better not do it either. Lot would have been persecuted to death had the angels not grabbed him out of that angry mob. They were horribly angry with Lot because he judged them all the time, they said it not me! Lot was a righteous man, He loved the Lord so much that he was willing to sacrifice his two daughters to the men of S&G, in order to save the messengers of God. He recognized their perfection and bowed low to them as did Abraham. Sinners do not recognize that, and would not bow humbly down before the workers of the Lord. We are now in what can be called the pre tribulation period. Do not be surprised at the painful ordeals we are going to go through, and even expect and praise the Lord for the trials He will bring on you before the tribulation, to build you into a fruitful child of God.

Do not look to your brother sister friend, mother father, nor your spouse to help you understand what comes upon us all. The relationship between you and the Lord is a very personal one. In fact you can call it a customized relationship, because the Lord knows how to speak to you, to help you understand in the very best way. He has preparation in mind for you. It is all in His word and then there is the outside of the bible knowledge that He pours upon your heart that let’s you know what is coming. He is so faithful and so worthy of praise and honor. When you trust Him in anything, He will show you over and over again why it is good to trust in Him. To believe that Lot was not righteous and the Lord saved Him anyway, I have to ask what God is it you believe in? Because the God of the bible has never and will never save someone who is not righteous. Let me help ingrain this thought in your mind. He sent a piece of Himself to this earth to live as a man, He humbled Himself in the form of a man and came to this earth to save us and bring us back to Himself.

He sent Jesus to die and when Jesus was in process of dying for our sins, taking our place, paying the price of it, God the Father, turned away from His own son, His own self, that is how much He can not look upon sin. He sent Himself the piece of His human self, to hell to pay the price for becoming sin, but Jesus was victorious and was raised from the dead, taking the keys of hell with Him to have dominion over it forever more. If He did not spare Jesus in becoming our sin, why would He spare you?

Love in Christ Jesus, Tammy
