Every Seed After Its Own Kind

posted by PrayerWarrior

Let’s talk about every seed after it’s own kind. The other day while speaking to a very nice, albeit deceived individual, about Christ being God, The Lord said very quietly, every seed after its kind! So I began to study this subject a little more in depth. Let’s go back to Genesis and move forward from there into our times here and now, the time of AD.

Genesis 1:11-12 KJV 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. See here how every animal after it’s kind? See how every seed of it’s kind? They can only recreate themselves, nothing when added together can make a different species altogether unless you get into Gene splicing then you are playing God and this cannot be done!

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Every living creature after its own kind!

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Now God made man after His own Image, but notice how He did not say He took and made man by His own seed? He made mankind in His own image, not by His seed, and we will see something else here that becomes important as we read on. After the fall God said Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Notice the Lord is talking about the virgin who will be with child? It does not say that about the virgin but of her seed He shall bruise the head of satan.

I want to show a bit more about the seed, so let’s go on over to Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another {seed} instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. Man’s seed, Adam’s seed was born into sin, but God’s seed planted into the virgin was not a man of Adamic fashion, but God’s own seed.

If every seed is created to bear seed of it’s kind, and recreate itself to it’s own kind, then God’s seed must according to God’s word and own swearing by Himself, create God. This is why when Jesus claimed to he and the Father are one, the Pharisees picked up stones to kill Him. {John 10:31} Prompting Jesus to ask for what of my miracles and wonders and good deeds do you kill me? They proclaimed not for these things but for saying you are God which is blaspheme!

The pharisees understood that Jesus was claiming to be God, because He is the only son of God ever made. He was seed of God’s seed, and no man had part in creating Jesus in the womb of the virgin. Thus they wanted to kill Him. Also Jesus saying that He was I am, those also showed the pharisees He was indeed claiming to be God. For I am is whom Moses proclaimed, told him to go out and lead God’s captives free out of Egypt. Jesus was known before he was born. He was known to be the son of God the son being of God’s seed and every seed of it’s own kind produces it’s own kind.

1 Cor 15:36-39 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

Now those verses previous, they make us go to another thing altogether and I will explain how my brain jumps to this area of bible study. That is the death of the seed, in order that life may come from it. The seed must go in the ground and die, it will come alive in a whole different form, than previously formed. So also shall we die, in baptism, and raise up out of the death to self and our old ways, and be raised up new in Christ Jesus! Then we can truly say it is no longer i who lives but Christ who lives in me and through me. Gal 2:20

We like the plant’s and like the Lord, when He died as a man, was raised up into a new man, one whose life is eternal, immortal is what He now is, and will make us one day! Only though if we die to self and the life of an earth dweller, who is only sinful all of the time. We instead when we come out of the death of baptism into the resurrected life of Christ, now live as righteous holy people. We then are called the righteousness of God through Christ.

These are all bible verses, I just am not naming them all, as i hope to prompt others to be more curious, so as to go and study this all for themselves. The Lord writing His word upon the tablet of our hearts, is good and a needful thing. We all need to be praying toward this end that he writes the word upon our hearts that we may know it and have the answers needed for people to come to know the Lord.

We are to go out into the world and make disciples of the whole world. Making them the same kind of seed we are as well, and that is now the children of God, through Christ. Christ is God in man form and there is plenty in the Old and new Testaments to make us know that indeed Christ was preached and prophesied about all through the whole word of God.

He gave me to know without question, that He Christ is indeed God as He was not born of man’s seed but of God’s seed which God can and would only make a God. Jesus was with Him and was the word, and was indeed God, John 1:1, it does not say like God, It says He was God, how does God then stop being God? Because He became flesh? He clothed Himself with mankind, for He is spirit, as a Spirit that cannot be looked upon God would then have to remedy that, so that He could come and be face to face with mankind, He had to separate Himself turning Himself into seed, but still maintaining every part of everything, He had to keep Himself in the heavens as well.

God is more than we could ever imagine, and just because people have issues with understanding the Infiniteness of God, does not change the fact that God put Himself here as a man, so that he could live a sin free perfect life, and die a spotless, sinless perfect lamb of God, to free us from the bondage of sin, and make us whole through himself, bringing us back to a right relationship with Him, such as was before the fall of Adam and Eve.

Through Christ we become new creatures. Brand new as though we were just born. ALL of our past sins, no matter what they were, even marriage and divorce, are wiped away. Dead men have no sin. Dead men are incapable of sin. But if you turn back to your sinful life, then you have lost all of your salvation. God would never take your salvation away from you, you choose to give it up! We do not give up free will when we become Christs, it is a conscious effort every day to give ourselves up, and instead walk in God’s will and ways for us.

If you detach yourself from the vine you are then dead. You will not wither immediately, but will instead wither slowly until you can no longer be recognized by the brethren as one of the brethren. I have seen many preachers these days who began good, but then were wooed away from truth by money. Now they speak lies to tickle ears so that people will pay them well and they can have an amazing life right here on earth. But the Lord says they have their rewards on earth and there are none for them in eternity.

Pick up your cross and follow me was said even before He went to the Cross, in Luke 9:23. We must deny ourselves. We must die to all selfish thoughts desires, and actions. We must deny ourselves and proclaim Him. We must bring Him honor and glory. This life is not about us, our hopes dreams, will and ways, for those are only evil all of the time. We must follow after Christ, we must listen to Him only. My sheep know my voice and they follow me, and I know them.

I always hear people say I feel, I think, I know, I want, it is not about our thoughts feelings or anything else, it is all about our love of Him, to the exclusion of everyone and everything else, and the love of others to not care how we will be persecuted for our witness of Him. It is all about our witness to Him and of Him. We will be persecuted one way or another so be Bold and speak about the seed dying and being born anew. Speak about Him and his will and ways. Warn people in and out of season. Be prepared to tell of him and suffer for it.

Most of all Die you seed, and be turned into a tree who is loaded with good fruit! Don’t despise the pruning, which makes us fruitful, and multiplies those of the same kind. When it hurts it means it is for our good! We work together, as is shown here in Corinthians.

1 Cor 3:6-8 I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 He who plants and he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.

I cannot fathom how it is that people cannot, through the entire scriptures of the day of the Lord, or the day of Jesus Wrath, or the day of wrath, see what is plainly stated in the word. What it will all look like. My hope in this article is to make it clear to all of you, as it is to myself, what that day will look like. I read the word and see so clearly what the day of the Lord will be, and that it is one day only. It is His wrath that He has stored up since He last destroyed the earth and left a mere eight people to begin it over.

I have seen many claim that the wrath of God is the entire 7 years of tribulation, no sorry it is not. I have seen people state it is the last 3.5 years of the tribulation period, no it is not! People claim it is the trumpets and vials in the book of Revelation, because in Chapter 6 it states the nations were angry and your wrath has come, but it is ignored that in the trumpets and vials at the end of those two sets of “JUDGMENTS” it says it again, your wrath has come. So do they believe that God’s wrath comes three times?

Let’s look at those verses that say this very important set of words. Maybe we can glean together what He means by this all. Rev 6:16-17 They told the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of his wrath has come; and who is able to stand?” So what are the people of earth talking about here? And does Jesus come show His angry face to the inhabitants of the earth only to take his face back up, reclose the sky, and relight the sun and moon? But then come back at the 7th trumpet, then go back and then come back at the 7th vial? Makes no sense right?

Now look at Rev 11:18 but pay very close attention here as it adds something new. The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth.” Wow wait a minute here say what? The dead to be judged? But isn’t that the resurrection? But isn’t that when Jesus comes back to rapture us, as people call it? The dead in Christ rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye! YES!!

I need also to point out something here. The pre tribulation people as well as the pre wrath crowd ignore the fact that Jesus and Paul said at the last trump he comes. Clearly here at the last trumpet Jesus comes, He raises the dead and judges them. So to say that the trumpets are God’s wrath, is way off base. As well the pre tribbers claim the 7th or last trumpet is going to occur at the feast of trumpets. Hmmmm so I guess God maybe had better go speak to these men and get His story right, they seem to know better than He does, what His word means!

Now look at Revelation 15:1 some say God’s wrath is completed, some say finished King James says it right on this verse. And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. So His wrath is not done, not over with, but filled up. The Holy Spirit says to my heart that what this means is His wrath has come to it’s boiling over point. Jesus comes in wrath, not before the wrath of God is filled up, but when it has come to it’s fullness, then it boils over. That my friends is Armageddon, that occurs in the valley of Megidoo. That is where the sword that comes out of the mouth of Jesus is used to fillet men where they stand.

I know this can be quite confusing! As I was writing this I was sitting here going, oh but wait Lord, am I getting this wrong? But He said to my heart read on child, and I will give you understanding. It speaks of the wrath being poured out of the bowls or vials depending on the version you read, but then it says that these are plagues, and as you read other verses in the bible of what the great and terrible day of the Lord will look like, then you can fully appreciate that indeed these are plagues, and or judgment, not His wrath poured out. The judgments are Gods anger for sure, but not the completion of His wrath.

These plagues are meant to make men realize that God is God and to repent, but a couple verses of chptr 16 shows men repented not of their sin. Verses 9 and 11 speak of the men blaspheming God and not repenting of their deeds. After God has the angel pour out the 7th vial He then pours out wrath on Great Babylon who has had the whole earth drink from her cup of fornication. Look at verse 15 of chapter 16 of Revelation. This verse here the Lord pretty nearly smacked me in the face with it LOL. He said now see this here, and realize you are all still there on earth.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. So He (Jesus) has not come as of yet. We are told a few times he comes as a thief, and those who think he has come as a thief silently, secretly, are sadly deeply mistaken. Because how many times does He come like a thief only to come as a thief again? It does not mean in secret nor in silence, it means unanounced before hand. A thief does not tell when he will rob a house, or you would be ready for him, and his task would be foiled. Jesus says I come when no man knows the day or the hour. I come without advance warning. I come when you least expect me.

The Lord in Revelation chapter one no less, says every eye shall see His coming. We are going to hear it as well. There is the Angel in the heavens shouting, there is the 7th trumpet, there is the ripping away of the sky or the heavens that rolls up like a scroll. That dear friends, is going to sound like something you never imagined you would ever hear. Then we see Him in His anger for those evil doers who repent not of their deeds. We all of us will not be able to stand under the onslaught of His anger and wrath that He appears with. Only when we have become changed in that blink of an eye will we then be taken up to meet him and those who had been reunited with their bodies in the heavenlies.

As I was praying this morning over this article, that I began a week ago, The Lord hit me with such a revelation as to almost knock me off my feet with it. I actually let out a little scream of wonder at it, and marveled that no one has ever thought of this before. My goodness it is so clear! But I will make you all wait as I show what it will look like, the day of God’s wrath, and then when we ask what it wont look like, is the spot that God slapped this amazing revelation on me. God my friends and family, and strangers alike, is so amazingly awesome. He gives us what we need when we need it and understanding when we seek to know it, flows into us. Sometimes that Revelation is a calmly placed word, sometimes it has the power to knock you off your feet. But always it is a blessing.

Now let’s look at these verses, no one ever seems to look at, as to what God’s fury and wrath will look like. “For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Rev. 6: 17.) Okay this one the pre wrath rapture team speaks of as God’s wrath coming, and though they are partially right they are also wrong due to the fact that they believe that the trumpets and vials are God’s wrath because of that entire verse. Because it says now His great wrath has come, they say oh okay so the trumpets and vials are the wrath, because they come after this. But truly it is not that, and my hope is to show in another piece to this with this new revelation, how we know that they are not separate, and they do not occur chronologically.

But look who can stand in the day of His wrath is my point here. No one will be able to stand in the day of the onslaught of His anger, His very wrath. “The wicked are overthrown. and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand” (Prov. 12:7) So when we see this particular phrase used in the bible before, he was then he was not for the Lord took him away, Gen 5:24. That was speaking of Enoch. We know when the word speaks of he was not, it means their gone. in this case however God did not take them to be in heaven with Him, He kills them. I will show this clearly as we move along.

Now look here again in Revelation at the last trumpet His wrath is mentioned again. “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants, the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy (corrupt) the earth” (Rev. 11:18).So hmmm now the wrath is coming again? After the supposed wrath of the 7 trumpets His wrath comes again in the form of the vials? Or could it be another description of the judgments of God? Or is it just a deeper description from the seals?

In Revelation 15 we see the 7 angels being handed the 7 last PLAGUES, and it says something here that always caught my attention once I stopped believing the fairy tale of a pre-tribulation rapture. In verse one alone, is where I received a great understanding that the vials are not the wrath of God, as people think they are. But that with the pouring out of these vials, the wrath of God would come to it’s completeness. Like the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. He has poured out judgment after judgment upon the men of earth, and rather than realizing He is there, which they have no way of denying He exists at this point, instead of coming to Him and repenting, they are actually now openly blaspheming Him. Thus Now His wrath, with these last seven plagues comes to it’s fullness He is ready to explode. As with all past prophecies John’s is no different, they move forward and back and then forward and back, to complete a picture.

15:1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete. Also the word here for wrath is not Orge but instead Thymos. There is a distinction between the word Thymos and Orge. Orge is wrath fully and completely wrath, but Thymos is anger. The translators played a game with words too often to even count, and therefore have made it hard to make a distinction between words unless you do a Greek study of it. Like the word church was never used, that word is Ekklesia which means chosen or elect of God. It was used to describe the Israelites in the OT, and is supposed to be used in the New Testament, at least this is what a study I did one day has shown me. I love words and word studies is one of the things I do best.

Now I want to go to the old testament and do a nice search there of what God’s wrath looked like to those who were given visions of it. “At his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation” (Jer. 10:10). I am getting a clear picture here myself with also Jesus words in Matthew 24:29-31 He describes everything that is in seal 6 trumpet 7 and vial 7. I personally see, and am quite sure, that the half hour of silence at seal 7, is the rapture, the taking up of the saints. “Who shall stand when he appeareth?” (Mal. 3:2).

“The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies” (Nah. 1:5-8). Now we’re getting somewhere. Hmmm great melting heat I have seen a few people say that God uses a nuke LOL. What need has God of a man made weapon of mass destruction, when a word spoken is enough to destroy everything He ever created? People try so hard to ascribe manly characteristics to God, but God is so much bigger than mankind. He is so much more than we can even come close to understanding.

Job as well knew about the day of wrath coming and this is what he said. “that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!” (Job 14:13). 2 Before the decree is issued, Or the day passes like chaff, Before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you, Before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you! 3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.(Zeph 2:2-3). We can clearly see no one wants to be in the DAY OF THE LORDS WRATH!

Zeph 1:14-15,18 “The great day of the Lord is near–near and coming quickly. Listen! The cry on the day of the Lord will be bitter… That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish… In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live in the earth.” Isa 66:15-16 “See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the Lord… Ps 69:24 Pour out your wrath on them, let your fierce anger overtake them. Ps 76:10 Surely your wrath against men brings you praise, and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.

Ah so here we see there will be survivors. Totally different article, but the point needs to be made, there are suvivors the world over after the wrath is poured out. Those who did not take the mark, and those who did not come to the valley of Megiddo to fight against the Lord in the final battle, the one called Armageddon. That is when Jesus comes and executes the wrath of God. It is also called by the apostle Paul the day of Christ. Why would Paul say this? Because Jesus is God was God and is coming to execute the wrath of God. He comes with flames and anger, and with His sword, with which He will fillet men where they stand with just the words out of His mouth. Paul speaks of it being Jesus in many places, I will simply put them down without writing them all out. Please go study them on your own. I may put them in here later we shall see how the Lord takes this and moves it. 1 Corinthians 1.8, 3.13, 5.5; 2 Corinthians 1.14; Philippians 1.6, 10, 2.16; 2 Timothy 1.18, 4.8.

Many people do not understand what the goat and sheep judgement is. It is the survivors, those on earth who for some reason, did not take the mark of the beast and survived all the evil turmoil upon the earth, in those times. All people left alive on the earth who did not come to the battle of Armageddon, will then come to Jerusalem and be judged. Some will be thrown into hell and some will come into the kingdom to live with the Lord, and we who are immortal human beings, who are kings and priests, over some of these very people at this judgment of Christ. For some reason people just cannot wrap their head around there being people alive after the fiery judgment at the battle of Armageddon, or the day of the Lord, or the day of His wrath. But there are!

They say it makes no sense at all, how can anyone survive fire brought upon the earth. But isn’t the God of the bible, the Only God there is, Isn’t He big enough fortuitous enough, to send that fire where He wills and to protect those whom He wants to protect? People make God so small, they box Him in to their own idea of who He is. God does not fit in your boxes. He is who He is, rather you accept Him for the truth of who He is, or not. God is just huge and who can truly know Him? Through out our studies of His word we get glimpses of who He is and how large He is, but never will we know fully who He is! He is so multifaceted that even a diamond and all it’s facets cannot compare to how magnificent the Lord our God is. The depths and lengths of Him and the Love will never truly be plumbed. That dear friends is exactly as He likes it.

Moving forward! In Isaiah 13:6-13 we see, Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, every man’s heart will melt, and they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; they will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; they will be amazed at one another; their faces will be like flames. Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine. “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, a man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts and in the day of His fierce anger.”

Let’s look together at Zechariah chapter 14. this is such a huge revelation at the plans on that DAY! The whole of this chapter describes this one day event in great detail. So forgive me for the space this will take but it must be written out completely to get this divine revelation of that day. 14 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle.

Look too, the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. So here we see there are a remnant alive, and these will not be cut off from the city. 4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south. 5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, for the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with You.

The saints with Him, so we have been taken up, as He revealed Himself in the heavens the angel shouts, reap for the earth is ripe for reaping, Rev 14 then He sends out, just like he said, in Matthew 24 His angels to gather together from the four corners of the earth and heavens, His own. First the dead in Christ, get reunited with their bodies, then we which are alive and remain, get taken up by the angels, after which we have been changed in the blink of an eye, from mortals to incorruptible immortals. Per 1 Cor 15:51-52. Carrying on in Zechariah, verse 6 It shall come to pass in that day that there will be no light; the lights will diminish. 7 It shall be one day which is known to the Lord—Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen that it will be light. Look at that one day only yet people all the time trick themselves into believing the day of the Lord is a 3.5 year period, and or a 7 year period. It is clear what the Lord is saying here ONE DAY!

The next few verses I will skip over, due to the fact that these are what is going on in the Millennial kingdom. Now onto verses 12 to 15. 12 And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. 13 It shall come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand; 14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. and the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance. 15 Such also shall be the plague on the horse and the mule, on the camel and the donkey, and on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be.

This my family in the Lord, is what the Lord’s wrath looks like! This is all consuming fire. This is men being filleted by the double edged sword that proceeds out of the mouth of Jesus. This is the Word of God! This is the Lord executing His own Wrath! Let’s see what it looks like elsewhere in the New testament we see in Revelation chapter 14 again, v20 And the wine press was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs. this is Jesus treading the wine press. Let’s look also at Isaiah 63 verses 1-6.

Isaiah 63 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. 4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. 5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. 6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

The Lord Himself says He Himself will tread the wine press, no on else He Himself, no angel no Human will help Him He will do this alone. One day and only one day! Isaiah 34 v 8 also says 8 For it is the day of the Lord’s vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion. Isa 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. I am just trying to make clear to you all, that the Lord Himself is the one who pours out wrath. The one who does all of the day of the Lord, alone. Now when doing all of this and praying, I asked the Lord so what does your day of vengeance look like? He said why don’t you ask me what it does not look like.

The tribulation is not God’s wrath! Let me help you to see something that is just so clear to be seen, but so many misunderstand. Angels do not pour out God’s wrath. Jesus does! But in Revelation while we see Jesus opening the seals, The angels are given the trumpets and the vials. While it says in triplicate that your wrath has come, you have to really study to get that understanding The seals are Jesus introduction to the judgment, the trumpets have always been warning, and the vial is the consummation of the judgment, or the completion. Wrath is so much more scary than the judgments, because it is going to be seen across the whole world at one time!

It is time to look at Revelation chapter 16 and see His the great day of the Lord mentioned. Look at 16:1 from the Waymouth bible calls it judgment not wrath. Also other translations say judgments, some say anger. As I said earlier anger is not wrath in Greek they are two different words Thymos and Orge. But I am specifically looking for the wrath coming in these verses of chptr 16. Verse 7 has the angel telling the Lord these judgments are right.7 And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” So the angels who pour out these vials know it is God’s anger. Verse 9 also calls these plagues. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

Look at verse 14 we need to see something here, it is mentioned the great day of the Lord. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that (great day of God Almighty). 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Again here is Jesus saying He comes as a thief. He says in Rev 3:3 Rev 16:15 and then all over the NT we see Christ saying watch I come quickly and the disciples telling us he comes as a thief. If he came as a thief already then why would He say at the second to the last vial being poured out, I come as a thief? Now at the 7th vial we see the angel saying it is done! The angels job is done. But look here comes the wrath.

In verse 14 of chp 16 we see that the vial is poured out to dry up the river Euphrates so that the way of the kings from the east for the great battle, the day of God Almighty. This is the only mention of the day of the Lord in these sets of verses but read for yourselves and see the angels themselves over and over again call these judgments, not His wrath. They also call them plagues. So honestly it is a case of mistaken words used for anger rather than wrath. In Chapter 15 also it goes back and forth between plagues judgments and wrath.

This is what the Lord said to me when I was praying, Father show me what your wrath looks like in the word? After pouring out the verses into my heart that I have read over the years, and bringing them to my remembrance, He then spoke to me and said, ask me what my wrath does not look like! I said yeah Lord what doesn’t it look like? He said it does not look like angels pouring it out, which they are doing with the judgments. I the Lord will have My vengeance Myself! I will repay. Romans 12:19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. But the wrath of God is not scary for us who are His own. God’s wrath is a reaction. It is a reaction to everything that contradicts His good, loving and just character.

God’s wrath is an expression of His love. God is love, so when He acts wrathfully, He acts in accordance with His loving nature. The wrath of God is His love in action. This is why you never need fear His wrath. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. By this time we will be that perfect blemish free, wrinkle free bride, that God will give to His son. We will have been through so much turmoil tribulation and trial that we will have been tried by the fire and not found wanting. In 1 Peter 4:1 For as much then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; We will have suffered enough that we are made perfect by it. Hallelujah!

Also I want to help you see something quite amazing. The Lord sits as a refiner of silver in the OT it says this. The refiner of silver and gold knows his metal is ready because he sees his own reflection looking back at him. The Lord when He looks upon this earth and sees His own reflection looking back at Him then, will end it all. It speaks of this in Zechariah and Malachi. Isaiah and Daniel speak of trying us in the furnace of affliction, we are to be tried by fire people. We need to have the dross and the worthless unfruitful things drawn off the top, that much heat or pressure brings out of us. The tribulation is to try men and see how much they will take in this life, to have eternity with the Lord. He reads hearts and knows us better than we know ourselves. Tribulation shows us who we are and how abiding our love is of the Lord and how enduring it is. He wants bought up sold out people for eternity. Those who love Him above anyone or anything, even their own lives.

whoever loves their life will lose it and whoever loses their life will find it, Matt 10:39. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matt 10:22, Matt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Time and again we see this admonition, that whoever endures till the end, the same shall be saved. He is coming and His reward is with Him and we are truly redeemed when He comes back. He knows who is staying with Him and who is not going to. Are you one who will remain in Him no matter what occurs? No matter how much you must suffer? No people this is not gloom and doom this is hope. What can we not achieve being in Christ? We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4.

What I find so heartbreaking is that so many cannot fathom suffering for this wonderful eternal bliss that is offered us. They cannot fathom let alone prepare themselves for the hell that is coming upon this earth, from satan and his minions, who will be as in the days of Noah, walking among us. People do not read nor prepare for what is coming. They fool themselves with this fake good news that Christ is coming for them before any of the evil is completely let loose upon this earth. It does not for them, have an ounce of reality in it. When they are standing in it, they’re going to be so frozen with dread and fear they will be immobilized and will be so shocked they will just go with the flow. This is why I say oh yes it is a salvation iussue. Pre tribulation rapture when it does not occur, and have no doubts, it is not happening like that, the word is very clear on this score, people will actually accuse God of lying to them.

There is already a huge apostasy happening, all over the place and it is getting easier and easier to see. But there is an even greater apostasy coming and even the luke warm will completely walk away, as will some of the mediocre crowd, and even some who are quite on fire for the Lord will walk away. Those who do not walk in the Holy Spirit will be walking away. This time is not a time for men alone to stand, it will only be the Lord who holds us up under the onsluaght of satans wrath. The only way that happens is for one to be walking completely in the Lord’s Holy Spirit. We are they who are now preparing in every way. Physically spiritually and mentally to stand up under it. Especially spiritually. We speak truth know truth and diligently seek truth. We accept that we do not have all the answers, and we turn deeper into the Lord, for the truths that even hurt to be spoken to us, and to each other.

Do not be fooled truth most often hurts. Being chastened and pruned, and dead ends cut off always hurts. The Lord warns us of this clearly. He disciplines those He loves. He chastens His own. He builds us and molds us and makes us more and more into the image of His son, and that is not pretty. It is hard and rough and most often we cry out Lord how much more can I take? And He says calmly I am right here as much as I do to you, I do for you. As much as I do for you, I also hold you up and fortify you, all things are possible through Christ! So we stay in Him. We stay connected to the vine and we are not cut off but held up and fortified. In our weakness He is strong. So we can do it we surely can do it, through Him and through Him alone can we live through all that is coming. Believing fables will surely get you killed in the end.

In Closing I want you all to understand what we see when we see God’s wrath being poured out from Christ, it does not look like plagues which seals trumpets and vials are, it is fiery and a blood bath the likes of which no one anywhere can even imagine. Men will be consumed where they stand their bodies will melt they will look at each other and marvel as they watch each other disintegrate. The Lord Himself pours out the wrath. Through out the word we see again and again He says I will repay. I take my vengeance. We are told not to have vengeance that the Lord will more than make up for all our suffering by evil men. I hope this helps people to see the truth of the matter. Wrath is poured out by Christ plagues and judgments are given by the Lord to the angels to pour out.

Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. I see this often used as a verse to say that God said, He will not always have his Spirit striving with man, so therefore it must be the Holy Spirit that restrains sin and as soon as the church is removed from the earth then sin will be free to take hold. They do not understand that unless the Holy Spirit make one say Jesus is Lord, they wont say it, think, or feel it.

So let’s see what did Jesus have to say about all of this. Let’s see how Jesus meant the Holy Spirit to be used during the time He is here, and when we (humans) will no longer need Him, (the Holy Spirit) here.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

John 16:5-15 “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

So Jesus is saying if He is here there is no need of the Holy Spirit to be here, and God would not send Him? But if he goes then the father will send the what? The comforter! So then we see in 1 Corinthians 12:1-3 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

Oh, Oh dear, look at that! Paul says in verse 3 no one can call Jesus Lord except by the Holy Spirit. That in itself says clearly, no one would, ever could, come to the Lord if the Holy Spirit were not present. Therefore though the people believing these discombobulated notions as truth, have a chink in the argument that they cannot fight against, they stubbornly stick to their guns and say it is spiritually discerned. But I tell you the truth they have no spirit of truth in them. No one can come to the Father by any other means than through the Son, and the Holy Spirit has to give them that knowledge, that Christ is Lord.

If the Holy Spirit is not here, and Christ is not here, then no one could or would be saved in the times of the tribulation. Then now let’s think of the 144,000. They are spirit led men of God. Doing miraculous things in the time of the tribulation. Man can do nothing other than by the Holy Spirit. There would be no tongues to speak to people all over the planet, in languages they never used before. There could be no healing ministries, no knowledge no wisdom, none of it would be going on. Yet the Lord says in the end times He will pour out His spirit fully upon all men women, and children even. Acts 2:17, Joel 2:28.

Even those who believe in a pre tribulation rapture cannot deny that the Lord said this. So how could it be that His spirit has departed but people are still acting on the spiritual gifts? It is a major contradiction. So then you have those who say it is a mid tribulation rapture. But still those also believe in two separate comings of the Lord. Yet the bible speaks clearly of one time only. The day of the Lord as Jesus return. You also then have those who say that the 6th seal is the rapture and though they are right, they are also wrong because they believe in two separate comings of the Lord Jesus. They also believe that the trumpet and vial judgments are separate from the seals and that is not true.

Then we also have Paul speaking of the 7th or last trumpet and Christ coming, as does Christ also speak of the trump of God, and the angels being sent out to gather his people from the four winds. From the four corners of the earth. They both speak of the angel shouting which is also present at the 6th seal the 7th trumpet and the 7th vial. The word of God is truth and not only truth but so simple of truth. Remember He made the truth simple to confound the wise. Or those who believe themselves wise. But they have earthly wisdom which is not Godly wisdom, 1 Cor 1:27. I wish that people stopped allowing men to speak into their hearts and would just allow, nothing but the Holy Spirit to speak. For He alone speaks truth, men will muddy up those good clean waters that the Holy Spirit pours out.

The holy spirit is God who lives in us, when we are immersed in the Holy Spirit. It is a separate thing from being born again. Let’s look at what Jesus said about this as well. Matt 3:11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. So John the baptist could only baptize one in water. But Jesus was there to baptize in the Holy Spirit with Fire. There is a difference it is clear to see. In John 14:26 Jesus said, But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Let’s look closer at what Jesus had to say about the Holy Spirit!

Luke 11:13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” John 14:15-18 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. So Jesus is telling us in essence as long as the Holy spirit is sent to us, He Jesus is with us!

John 20:21-23 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.” This was after Jesus came back from the dead. But he also told them to wait until the day of pentecost before they went to do anything. Why would he do that? Because without the full blown baptism of the Holy Spirit they would simply be men doing what men can do and not men used of the Holy Spirit. They would be powerless to do the works of the Lord. I believe when He breathed on them that He was marking them with the seal of God. That they would be the first to receive the power of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:4,5 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” You see just one book later, and a mere chapter later, from John’s last chapter of the book of John, The Lord told them do nothing until the gift the Father promised has come upon you.
Now let’s look at what happened when the Holy Spirit was poured out on them the day of pentecost.

Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. The people near heard it all too and were astounded they thought they were drunk but not because of their actions, but because they spoke in other languages.

Acts 2:5-13 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” 13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

WARNING!! This is not an endorsement for being drunk in the Spirit. There is no such thing as that! That is a false disgusting thing that will destroy your spirit life and lead you astray. Stay away from people and pastors who teach such a false doctrine. If it is not in the Bible then it does not belong in your Christian life.

Moving forward there is much more to discuss about the Holy Spirit.John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. See this, none can do anything but the Holy Spirit be upon them. It is the very anointing of the Holy Spirit which gives anyone anywhere the ability to perform the gifts and works of the Lord. Also We cannot even retain or understand anything the word says lest the Holy Spirit be upon us. Look at 1 John 2:26-27 has to say about this.

1 John 2:26-27 26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. look at that with the power of the Holy Spirit upon you giving you eyes to see and ears to hear, you need no one to teach you anything. The Holy Spirit teaches us in truth, there is no lie in Him. Men will lie to you and hurt and cheat you.

John 3:5-8 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” So now think about that would you? Jesus said one must be born of Water and Spirit.

If one is not born of the Spirit, or baptized in the Holy Spirit, or Immersed in Him, then you cannot even see heaven. It is separate from being born again. It is the next step up into the power of the Holy Spirit. The power to be able to walk in thegifts to speak boldly to have faith wisdom knowledge and all the gifts of the Spirit. We need to show the friuts of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Notice the word “And” between water and spirit. That does not say they are the same thing. Paul and all the apostles said the same thing, but have you been baptized in the spirit?

Why would they ask that if a person said they were born again or baptized into repentance? Why then must they ask the question but were you baptized in the Holy Spirit? Acts chapters 2,8,19, Because there is a difference. When one is on their death bed and accept the Lord there is no need to be baptized in the holy Spirit, they are not going to be working.

Though if they were to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, I can just about guarantee you, they would be healed instantly. But no one seems to understand in our day and age the very power of the Grace of God and the very power that we hold at our fingertips, if we but believe it. The problem is no one believes without wavering in our time. We have all been taught that the healing and well all of the gifts are not here.

We need to overcome this with the power of the Holy Spirit and ask for a huge measure of faith like we have never had before. Then sit back and watch the Lord give you what you ask for. How much more liberal would the Lord be, if we but asked for the right things? He would give until it hurts, if you trusted Him to do so. God is lavish with the gifts when we ask and then leave it alone.

What I mean by ask and leave it alone, is just ask Him once, then leave it at His throne and leave it alone. Do not come back and ask again just trust that what you have asked in the name of Jesus will be given to you. You do not have to ask again, worry it over in your mind and hope and hope and hope you’ll get it! Just trust and believe that at the first and only asking, it will be done! God is so faithful if we just show Him we believe in Him and His promises.

Lets Look at the Old Testament promises of the Holy Spirit! Jesus said after He was glorififed the Holy Spirit would come upon us. I personally think that Jesus uses fully the Holy Spirit when He is here and it cannot nor needs to be shared when He is present. For He is God/Son/Holy Spirit!

Ezekiel 36:26-27, the Lord says, “I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my ways.” Joel 2:28 also tell us the same as Acts 2:17.‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. Just a little something to ponder for you. When the Bereans were searching the scriptures for the truth being spoken by Paul and all apostles they did not have the new testament as of yet. So they had to be searching the old testament.

In searching the old Testament comparing verses to the New Testament I have found so many verses that cross reference one another. I have at times put those up on my facebook. I find that a lot of fun, to see the concepts of them and see clearly the word of God does not contradict itself. If for some reason you find anything that contradicts itself, it is your understanding that is flawed, or someone elses bad teaching.
The Holy Spirit is a He not just anything or a what or an it. The Holy Spirit is fully a part of the God head, the great three in one.

We must have the Holy Spirit in order to be saved, because you cannot see heaven unless you are baptized into the Holy Spirit as well as in water. Did you know, do you realize that when at first people became saved it was by being immersed in water and to the remission or repentance of sin? They were baptized in water unto repentance! How crazy is that? I wonder when did people decide to stop baptizing people into salvation? We have fallen so far away from the way it all worked in the beginning. It is our job through the power of the Holy Spirit to find where it all went wrong and come back to the true only way, which is Jesus Christ!

Peter in Acts 2:38,39 says 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” NOW I WANT YOU PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to those words of Peters! To all ALL whom the Lord calls! We are all called out! The Gifts of the Holy Spirit were not just for the apostles. It is the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit which gives us boldness and wisdom and knowledge and all the gifts. Notice also this is separate from being born again!

The book of Acts must be read by all of us and very carefully so as not to miss the importance of pentecost. Pentecost was not a one time thing a one day only thing. It happens still, as long as the Holy Spirit is here, moving upon men and women, and even children, He is still here until the last day! I do not understand how people can allow themselves to be misled, by fallible human beings. When the word of God, is the final, and in my opinion, only authority on all subjects having to do with the bible. But then again if one does not believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and that it is a separate baptism from the water baptism, they do not have the power to see hear, or know truth!

How sad it will be to see millions upon millions go to hell who lived a good life. One in which they thought they were doing the works of the Lord, but alas only to find out they did them on their own esteem, and that all in all they were dead works.Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
A dead work is any work that we perform which has not been called for and begun by the Holy Spirit.

Assuming that you have accepted Christ as your savior, and repented, I hope you have repented! If not then your being lied to about being saved. Then you must also ask a spirit led person to pray over you for receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Or you can learn all about this for yourself, and pray to Jesus to baptize you in the Holy Spirit. He is faithful and reads our hearts so well. He knows what it is you are honestly desiring and will give it to you. John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Especially this prayer will be answered, because He wants you to have power to do the works He called you to.

In closing dear friends brothers and sisters in the Lord, I pray for you all to understand and that I might have helped you to see a little more clearly. Never ever take my word for anything. Always pray to the Lord to clarify for you anything, and always check your word for the concept of which the Lord is speaking to us. It needs to match up or else throw it out! I am not afraid of anyone checking behind me, because I know the lord is with me and I work always under the power of the Holy Spirit. More often than not when done doing one of these articles I proof read and am awed by the Lord using me, and I say oh Lord I know I did not write this! That is the coolest thing ever!
Blessings in Him,
Tammy

Lot Was A Righteous Man!

posted by PrayerWarrior

You know it vexes me no end that people think Lot was saved only to please Abraham. Lot was a righteous man we are told in Peter. Lot did not partake of the immorality of Sodom and Gomorrah. He was vexed by their sins and their disgusting way of life. So He lived among the heathen and the depraved, we do too! Look here is the meaning of vex = [veks] verb 1.to irritate; annoy; provoke: His noisy neighbors often vexed him. 2.to torment; trouble; distress; plague; worry: Lack of money vexes many. 3.to discuss or debate (a subject, question, etc.) with vigor or at great length: to vex a question endlessly without agreeing. 4.to disturb by motion; stir up; toss about. 5.to afflict with physical pain.

I imagine Lot standing in the door way of his house looking at all going on in and around the town he lived in, shaking his head in consternation, much like we ourselves do at all that is going on around us.. Look he was a business man he was wealthy and prosperous. And what does anyone care where their money comes from? Being a business owner, I do not care if the people who patronize my business are sinners or saved, I will take all their money for services rendered. Of course I enjoy those people who are the Lords and who come and visit, but they are treated no differently than anyone else. Besides which, I never know whose mind might be changed from sinner to saint, by my loving them.

Let’s just reason together and study the life of Lot, in Genesis it does not say too much, but let’s see what the Lord would show us, and have us know. Gen 12:4-5 4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. (So let’s then look at this, the Lord told Abram to leave his fathers land and go to the land the Lord would show him. He took lot with him. Does not say anything as of yet about righteous or not.)

Abram at this time was coming upon the land of Egypt and knowing his wife Sarai was stunningly beautiful he was sure that the king or the men of Egypt, would have him killed to take his wife as their own. Abram lied, Yet Abram was righteous! Think of David and his adultery, as well as then having the man killed to hide his perfidy, yet the Lord called him (David) a man after the Lords own heart. You sin I sin we all sin, but the difference is we ask forgiveness. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, you can’t and neither can I.

Gen 13:1-4 Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South.2 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. 3 And he went on his journey from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, 4 to the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord. 5-7 Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents. 6 Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together. 7 And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizzites then dwelt in the land. So there was strife between abrams men and Lot’s but none between Abram and Lot, they reasoned together to work this out no anger no hard feelings.

Gen 13:8 So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.” 10 And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. 12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord. (Still though it mentions that the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked, still no mention of Lot being a sinner or anything of the sort.)

Gen 14 speaks of Lot being kidnapped and held prisoner, and Abram goes and rescues Lot. Still no mention at all of Lot being bad, as a matter of fact the kings that won this war against Sodom and Gomorrah took all of Lot’s goods live stock and everything he owned.11 Then they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way.12 They also took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. 14:14 Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. 15 He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus. 16 So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.

Look at that huh? Abram had 318 trained servants, not soldiers and they defeated the 5 kingsand all their men, who had just won out against four kings. NICE! Nothing more is mentioned of Lot for a little while till chapter 19. In chapter 18 the Lord who had just visited with Abraham was thinking within Himself that He would and should share with Abraham that He was there on a mission to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. For the wickedness of it was so great, that the cries coming from within it, reached heaven. I do honestly believe it was the Holy Spirit visiting with Abraham for we know men cannot live upon seeing the Lord our God. Chapter 19 is where we see Lot mentioned again.let’s then read the story and see if you can see where Lot might have shown himself to be a wicked and or sin filled man.

Gen 19:1-4 Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them,he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. 2 And he said, “Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant’s house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.”And they said, “No, but we will spend the night in the open square.” 3 But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4 Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. 5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” Lot then offers his two daughters up instead of the Lord’s host.

This was not a sin it makes no mention of Lot being a sinner or doing anything wrong he was making a major and bold offer. Though I am sure he did hope in his heart, these disgusting vile men would not accept this offer. Would we not do something similar in order to protect these which we knew were glowing glorious beings from the Lord? Let’s go on. 6 So Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him, 7 and said, “Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly! 8 See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof.” (Not to mention there was no law as of yet. Morals were inbred in people and if they acted against that then it was sin. The Lord built us with morals from the beginning.)

9 And they said, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.” (They called Lot a judgmental jerk in essence in these verses. They then wanted to do some serious damage to Lot, but the angels who were there struck those men blind after ripping Lot into the house with them. Lot was sure he was doing right by the Lord and the Lord certainly did more than right in His dealings with Lot.) So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door. 10 But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. 11 And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.

12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place! 13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking. 15 When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” 16 And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. I can only guess that Lot was thinking of all he owned as well as his other daughters and everything going to be utterly and completely lost to him, which is why the angels had to actually grab his hand and pull him into action.

17 So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” 18 Then Lot said to them, “Please, no, my lords! 19 Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die. 20 See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.” 21 And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. 22 Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” (Here now is where it get’s interesting. The Lord would not ever save an unrighteous man. He never has before.)

23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar. 24 Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. 26 But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. She must have looked back with longing for her life that she was leaving behind, not to mention her children who were going to be destroyed due to their lack of trusting their father and or father in-law. The fact that Lot’s wife was disobedient to what she was told straight up, do not look back, cannot be missed in this as well. Disobedience is death brothers and sisters. To fool yourselves into believing that God does not expect perfect obedience is pure folly on anyone’s part. Jesus mentions something to this effect in Luke 14:33, So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

27 And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord. 28 Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace. 29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt. (Now here is where people get all self righteous and hypocritical is in the rest of Lot’s story. In chapter 19 we see what became of Lot and his two daughters.) 30 Then Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters were with him; for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave. 31 Now the firstborn said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man on the earth to come in to us as is the custom of all the earth. So they devised a plan. This was not Lot’s plan, and nowhere does it say that He sinned or did anything against the Lord.

32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father.” 33 So they made their father drink wine that night. (Now think on this for a moment, the man had lost all he had everything he owned he was now poor and destitute, his wife became a pillar of salt.He lost his other children, this is how his daughters would have been able to have him drink wine. I can only imagine they were cajoling, come father no more crying just drink some wine to make you forget for a little while that you may rest.) And the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.34 It happened on the next day that the firstborn said to the younger, “Indeed I lay with my father last night; let us make him drink wine tonight also, and you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father.”35 Then they made their father drink wine that night also. And the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. He had no clue what happened. And though I do not want to sound like a broken record there were no laws at that time. How could Lot be breaking laws if there wre none?

Another fact I want to bring up is this, Abraham married his half sister. Same father different mother.19:36 Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father. 37 The firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab; he is the father of the Moabites to this day. 38 And the younger, she also bore a son and called his name Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the people of Ammon to this day. If anyone sinned in this it was the two daughters. They produced sons both of them who became rulers and their ancestors still to this day rule the lands they had taken as their own. (Ammon is the capitol city of Jordan in our modern day, and Moab is also in Jordan. Now think on these verses by Peter whom the Holy Spirit filled with knowledge and wisdom, as well as remembrance for all that Jesus told the Apostles.)

2 Peter 2:4-11 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. Let’s see God did not spare anyone who was immoral and unrighteous. No God will not ever save anyone for anyone else’s sake.

This clearly spells out if you are not living for the Lord, working your best for Him, and trying with all you have not to sin, you are doomed! The angels who are so much higher than we are I mean they are in the very presence of God Himself were not spared for their siding with satan, what makes you lowly human think he will spare you? Grace sets us free from bondage of sin but if you go back to it you have re-enslaved yourself. Your name will be blotted out of the book. Lot was a righteous man to say he was not and the Lord saved him anyway is pure garbage and has no part of it in the truth. God will not ever esteem any man above Himself. God knows us better than we know ourselves, and knows humans only see what He has found it good to show them. Now you will not lose your salvation if you repent of your sins, but repentance is an ongoing thing through out our lives. The Holy Spirit will clearly show us what we are doing wrong, he will sear your conscience, to bring you to the realization that this is not acceptable. It is when you just keep sinning and vex the Holy Spirit that you will once for all time lose your salvation.

God knows us as I said, better than we know ourselves, you cannot fool the Lord. When I am having a hard time with something then I cry out to the Lord, help me see Lord the error that is causing me to put doors in between us, and He does. We must continually as long as we sin ask forgiveness. Nothing with the Lord is taken for granted though He knows your thoughts and will most times answer before you ask, He still expects you to ask. It is the same with forgiveness, you must always ask for it no matter how much you have sinned, or how little it is always best as Jesus said, to ask forgiveness when He told the disciples of the perfect prayer that was one of the things He said was good to pray. In Fact He quantifies that part in the verse right after the perfect prayer, Look here at Matthew 6 verses 9-15.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Then you can also look at the parable of the servant who was forgiven his debts and then went out and gave hell to one who owed him. Then all he had was taken from him and he was thrown into prison, never to be forgiven again, Matthew 18:21-35. Look people when thinking to yourself is this sin or not well all you have to do is compare it to love, does love think this, does love look at this, does love feel this, does love do this? If the answer is no then if you do it that is sin. Love is now what we measure sin against. Let’s not forget love covers a multitude of sin. 1 Peter 4:8.

If you love you will not cheat, steal, lie, be jealous of, you will not kill, nor blaspheme, you will not spread around rumors or gossip. As the time get’s closer and closer for the tribulation we are going to find loving so much the harder, we will be vexed like Lot was on all sides. We are all vexed as it is, and it is just going to get worse and worse, if we lose the Love we have lost the salvation, given it up, passed it out of our grasp or understanding. We must measure our every thought word and deed by the measure of love. If love would not do it then you had better not do it either. Lot would have been persecuted to death had the angels not grabbed him out of that angry mob. They were horribly angry with Lot because he judged them all the time, they said it not me! Lot was a righteous man, He loved the Lord so much that he was willing to sacrifice his two daughters to the men of S&G, in order to save the messengers of God. He recognized their perfection and bowed low to them as did Abraham. Sinners do not recognize that, and would not bow humbly down before the workers of the Lord. We are now in what can be called the pre tribulation period. Do not be surprised at the painful ordeals we are going to go through, and even expect and praise the Lord for the trials He will bring on you before the tribulation, to build you into a fruitful child of God.

Do not look to your brother sister friend, mother father, nor your spouse to help you understand what comes upon us all. The relationship between you and the Lord is a very personal one. In fact you can call it a customized relationship, because the Lord knows how to speak to you, to help you understand in the very best way. He has preparation in mind for you. It is all in His word and then there is the outside of the bible knowledge that He pours upon your heart that let’s you know what is coming. He is so faithful and so worthy of praise and honor. When you trust Him in anything, He will show you over and over again why it is good to trust in Him. To believe that Lot was not righteous and the Lord saved Him anyway, I have to ask what God is it you believe in? Because the God of the bible has never and will never save someone who is not righteous. Let me help ingrain this thought in your mind. He sent a piece of Himself to this earth to live as a man, He humbled Himself in the form of a man and came to this earth to save us and bring us back to Himself.

He sent Jesus to die and when Jesus was in process of dying for our sins, taking our place, paying the price of it, God the Father, turned away from His own son, His own self, that is how much He can not look upon sin. He sent Himself the piece of His human self, to hell to pay the price for becoming sin, but Jesus was victorious and was raised from the dead, taking the keys of hell with Him to have dominion over it forever more. If He did not spare Jesus in becoming our sin, why would He spare you?

Love in Christ Jesus, Tammy
