The War In Heaven

posted by PrayerWarrior

Satan Thrown Out of Heaven
I want to address the war that will be taking place in heaven, at the midway mark of the 7 last years. At that time at the 3.5 year time mark, the antichrist will stand in the temple and call himself God. I am quite sure as well that this is when the war in heaven takes place and I plan in this article, and video to show just why I understand it this way.The war in heaven is not a huge amount of information but it has all the points we need to pay attention to, in it. Jesus makes reference to it in Matt 24 and also makes reference to Daniel’s prophecies. I will show how they correlate with one another. For most bible references I use the NKJV, and the KJV. I have used the Amplified bible and the NASB.

Matt 24:15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. See Jesus says the same exact thing as Daniel, about this being a time like has never been before.

This is all when Michael stands up. I want to look at this from Pauls perspective as well. He was also taken to heaven and shown the end He tells us this in 2 Corinthians 12. 2. But let’s look at  Thess 2:3-7 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. Or till Michael stands up to satan and throws him out of Heaven. Until the time of the war in heaven the antichrist will not be revealed. No one will know for sure who he is. Let’s go on with Rev 12.

Revelation 12:7-9 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. So now satan is come to the earth at this time. Will he inhabit his antichrist? I am Not sure really, but we know that there is great power in the antichrist, he deceives many, and we know he comes back to life around this time too. I imagine it is a parody of Christs resurrection as well. Knowing that satan loves making a mockery of all God has done, helps me to believe this is the case.

Revelation 13:11-14 let’s look at the deadly wound healed on the beast. 11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.<<<(The false Prophet, looks like a lamb the Hadith = book of eschatology of Muslims, calls this person Jesus) 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. This is all at the halfway point of the last 7 years. The oblations or sacrifices are stopped when the armies surround jerusalem, then the antichrist calls himself God in the temple.

Let’s go on though as we were, and finish up with Chapter 12 of Revelation. Rev 12:10-12,  Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” In this I see Jesus words to flee from Jerusalem when the a/c stands in the temple calling himself god and demanding worship.

The Woman Persecuted Rev 12:13-17
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child (Unbelieving Israel). 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God (To love Himself and each other) and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This is also spoken of (the protection of this woman) in verse 6 of chp 12 of Rev. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

I also believe that is when the seals begin to be opened. The antichrist will be in power for a short 3.5 years, or 1260 days, the same amount of time that the Jews are nourished and hidden in the wilderness. The antichrist the rider on the white horse, seems to be a man of peace and for non Christians he will be, but for Jews and Christians woe to us woe. The antichrist comes on a white horse with a bow and no arrows in his quiver.  He comes conquering and to conquer, he will have that power only when he is resurrected from the dead by satan. He will have that power only because Michael is no longer holding back satans power. Once the war in heaven happens Michael is no longer restraining evil, or keeping it at bay.

Now in that set of verses  Rev 12:6 and 12:14 I see clearly a remnant being hidden and protected in the desert, or wilderness, or wherever it may be that God has in mind to hide the remnant, for the 3.5 years of the great tribulation, as is seen clearly in verse 6, and 14 she is cared for. God has always had a remnant of Jews always has and always will, till there is no need. It all has to do with the promise to Abraham to make more people than the sands of the sea, through him. Then the rest who hold the testimony of Jesus, that is Christians that satan goes to make war with. This is when the mark of the beast will be implemented, and carried out with deadly force. We will look at those other verses that explain all of this a little later. Many say no the Jews cannot be alive and or will have come to Christ. No not those hidden away in the desert my friends. When they see Christ coming on the clouds with power and great glory their eyes will be fully opened.

I have a point to make here and it is about the two commandments God has for us in the new covenant.  (Jesus tells us that love covers a multitude of sins in, Matt 22:37-40 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” See just two covers it all. because if you Love God your going to do all you can to please Him and if you love your fellow man, you are doing what you are commanded to do as well. Love will not bring harm of any kind to another.)

I have seen that many people cannot make a distinction here in this set of verses, Rev 12:6 and 14, but to me it is very clear and simple to understand. God allows the saints those who accepted Christ, and who follow His commandments to love God and others as we love ourselves, these are they who are Christians, as we began to be called in the book of Acts. What does Christ-ians mean? It means little Christs. We were first called Christians in Acts 11:19-26. We will go through fiery trials to be chastened and purified. Paul tells us this truth, that through much tribulation will we enter the KINGDOM OF GOD. Acts 14:22

There are plenty of verses that tell us the Jews will mourn as though over their first born.  Zech 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced , and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. They will repent at that time. Then also we know from many verses that the Jews will be those who mostly repopulate the earth in the millennial kingdom. Look at this set of facts. Jews will not be raptured because they do not believe in Christ. God told Abraham it was his direct seed who will populate the earth to more than the sands of the sea. Someone has to be alive for this, and whom God has blinded on purpose, (which we know till the times of the gentiles be fulfilled they are blinded) He will not hold them as accountable as if they were allowed to see and totally rejected Him anyway.

I believe because they repent and mourn to the very core of them, those whom the Lord has hidden away in that time, will be forgiven and taught the ways of the Messiah. God blinded them on purpose until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled. Romans 11:25-27: For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Paul also warned the Romans against being lifted up in pride because they had been favored by God with salvation. He explained the mystery that the blindness of Israel would not last forever. He told them that this condition would only last until “the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.” Then he explained that all of Israel, that existed when the fullness of the Gentiles was completed, would be saved. He went on in the chapter to explain that God first concluded the Gentiles in unbelief so that He might have mercy on the Gentiles. He then explained that the Jews are now consigned to unbelief, so that He might have mercy on the Jews. He summarizes his discourse in Romans 11:32 – For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. Revelation 1:7 also speaks of they who pierced him mourning.

I want to give a little background on who is the antichrist what area he will come from and it is not Rome! First of all the Romans did rule for a long time a very large tract of the middle east, but it was not they who destroyed the temple, it was the Flavians. In Daniel, it speaks of the man who will come and he is a northern middle east personality. So Turkish, Assyrian area is how I see it. The Assyrian from the tribe of Dan is how it is explained by some people, and this just rings true in my spirit. We are told in Genesis that Dan is a snake an adder, and comes from the North. Let’s look at that. “Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. 17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. 18 I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.” (Genesis 49:16-18)

Then let’s look at some more verses that explain this a little further. “There is one come out of thee,[Nineveh] that imagineth evil against the Lord, a wicked counsellor.” (Nahum 1:11) Then “And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.” (Micah 5:5) then in Daniel we see he comes from the North.”Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and from it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.” (Daniel 8:8-9)

The Prophet Jeremiah also said that the antichrist would invade through the tribe of Dan. “The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.” (Jeremiah 8:16) We know this has not ocurred as of yet, it shows up nowhere in History. Also many people believe that the war in heaven has occurred already, but it has not as satan still goes back and forth accusing the brethren before God. Also the book of Revelation none of it has occurred as of yet with the exception maybe and this is just a maybe, as we do not know for sure as of yet, if the Judgment of the Ekklesia, the house of God, has begun. I personally think that it has been happening over the last year as all of the hard core true Christians I know, have been going through the toughest times of their lives. Physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial woes have plagued those who seek the Lord diligently. Those who study to show themselves approved and who know that there are wolves in sheeps clothing leading the many straight down the path of hell.

I am continually astonished at those who refuse to see the word of God just for itself, but instead seek out men and their interpretation of the word. I have had an argument with a man recently on youtube, who just cannot get it through his head, that I refuse to listen to men, and when I gave him the verse in 1 John 2:27 which says that we have no need that men teach us, he wrote a whole entire article on his blog, trying to disabuse people from knowing that they were anointed with the same Holy Spirit as any of the teachers in this modern day so called church. I have disdain for the word church because it is a misinterpreted word. Ekklesia is the word used for church and the word Ekklesia in Greek means called out ones chosen, or the elect.

We are all to be anointed and made into disciples as the apostles were doing. They were first discipled by Christ, then they were told to go out and make disciples of the nations, that is our great commission. Each and every person who is in the Lord and believes on the truth, are disciples, and it is all of our job to go out and make disciples of the world. How can we do that if we are not imbued with the power of the Holy Spirit, the power that raised Christ from the dead, ourselves? The dictionaries of today make no distinction between apostle and or disciple. The Greek language however makes a distinction. Strongs Greek for Apostolos #652 a messenger, envoy, delegate, one commissioned by another to represent him in some way, especially a man sent out by Jesus Christ Himself to preach the Gospel; an apostle.

Then we have the Greek word for Disciple, Strongs Greek #3101 mathétés a learner, pupil. These in turn go about learning the ways of the Lord and then go out teaching others the same things they learned. Healing casting out demons speaking in other tongues, prophesying, words of knowledge wisdom discerning spirits, and so on and so forth. We have a wonderful brother in Christ named Torben, Torben is taking brand new disciples and making them into disciplers themselves right away. You can find Torbens amazing truth speaking teaching videos on you tube at The Last Reformation channel. In the times coming Daniel tells us 12:3 Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. Again I have to say that we none of us can be disciples nor make disciples if the Holy Spirit is not here in the end times.

Also let’s look at Daniel 12:1 “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. So I want to understand completely and I want all of you who hear to understand as well. Michael is the restrainer, there is no doubt in my mind, because as soon as he stands up, there will be times of trouble the likes of which has never been before. Michael we know from Daniels earlier writings, is a great prince he is the most powerful arch angel, and it is his job to watch over the people of the Lord, that does include Christians people.

As soon as we become born again, we are grafted into the olive tree. We know when He stands up when the antichrist shows himself as god and demands worship the mark will be implemented on the earth. There will be no buying or selling without that mark of the beast, we will be hunted down and many killed. We will know that the war in heaven has occurred because satan comes down and takes out his wrath on the inhabitants of the earth. He chases after the Israeli’s first and when that does not work, because they are supernaturally protected, then the saints who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ will be in the sites of satan. This is very important to us as we will certainly be here for it.

Normally I like to find all of the old testament scriptures to go along with the New testament scriptures to my amazement though there really are no Old Testament scriptures to go along with the book of Revelation and the war that takes place in heaven. I know that the war in heaven has not taken place as of yet for a couple of reasons, but the biggest reason is that Jesus told John that these are things which are yet to take place and that was after Jerusalem and the temple were already destroyed. John was given the Revelation sometime after all the other apostles were dead and that has to have been after 86 AD. Some say he died around 100 AD some say he died around 90 AD. We know it was a while after the others. Rev 1:1-3 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

See those things to come!!! But notice something else in those verses. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy. The only book in the whole bible that comes with a blessing. It must be awfully important to the Lord that we read and adhere to it. We must know the end from the beginning or we will not be prepared and or ready for what is to come. Prophecy is the most important aspect of the word of God, for it is our hope contained in the prophecies. Not only that but we are told in Revelation also that 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

If you take the spirit of prophecy and eat it up as John did literally, it tastes sweet but makes bitter the tummy, but you will not easily forget it! We tend to remember those things that hurt our bellies. Normally though we stay away from those things, let us never stray far from the prophecies contained in the word for there in lies the spirit of Jesus the spirit of prophecy. I have people ask me all the time but how can you just study prophecy so much and only that? But honestly how do you only study prophecy? I mean in order to study the prophecies you must study the entire word! It is impossible to study only prophecy. In order to get to the prophecies you must study from one end of the word to the other! So you get to know everything in between as well.

Also there is some new false garbage going on by of all people John MacArthur and Brannon Howse, that you can take the mark of the beast and still go to heaven and have eternity with Christ! I beg to differ as does the book of Revelation. The book of Revelation in chapter 14:9-11 clearly states,9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Blessings  to you all in Christ,

Tammy

A New Commandment I Give You!

posted by PrayerWarrior

34But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matt. 22:34-40.

With human relations declining throughout the planet, and anger and hatred taking over completely, it is so very hard to love anyone anymore. Yet if we lose the love, we have lost our own salvation. The Loving God part for me anyway comes easy. We who have been freed from much bondage and sin and who have been forgiven much can honestly love the Lord with every part of our being. The issues come in when we have to love the unlovable people of this world.

Yet the Lord expects us to seek His heart for others, and to love them as we love ourselves. How do we do this in a world growing more and more hateful by the day? We give it to God fully and completely! Let’s look at how much Love is spoken of in the NT. Quite often, and Jesus said in John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Love is the most important commandment, it is the only one according to Jesus. Everything thatis done in love cannot fail. Love does not seek it’s own, it does not boast, it does not hurt anyone in anyway. It says in 1 Pet 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

Jesus says in Matt 24:9-14 9 “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. 10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.

Let’s talk about verse 12. In the KJV it says because iniquity will abound, the love of many grows cold. That friends is apostasy! If we lose the love, we are as nothing. We are good only for the fire, we have turned from fruitful into waste. In John chp 15 we read of the vine being cut off and thrown in the fire, if it bears no fruit, it is only good for the fire. It also describes the apostles as the branches and we are included in that!
John chpt 13 it says By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

1 John 4:20 says If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? John 13:35 says “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death”.See not loving is apostate. We must maintain no matter what we go through the Love. If we lose the love we have lost everything and all our past goodnees and or righteous deeds have come to naught.

Paul says, “owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘You shall not covet,’ and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” (Romans 13:8-10) Pretty clear on that score. Love does not wrong to anyone at any time.

Jesus said in Luke chpt 6:30-36 “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” principle. He says, “Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.”

That set of verses covers a lot of territory. If we love we will go that extra mile to show the love. Imagine you borrow from someone and they give you much more than you asked for, then tell you you owe me nothing! I never want you to try and pay me back! Your head would nearly spin off your neck at such a thing. Especially in this day and age when everyone is out for what more they can get out of each other, this is unheard of.Yet it is something we should regularly be practicing. I am not talking about giving everything you have unless of course you have the faith to believe the Lord will cover you, much more than you gave.

Of course we must be doing according to the will of God as well. But we know the will of God is to love even our enemies in this way. When he said if one slap you in the face turn your cheek and present it too to your enemy. Also if one takes your coat give them your sweater too! No this is so not easy a thing to do. We are incensed at such a thing occurring. We would be absolutely flabbergasted for someone to steal our coat right off us. The last thing we would be thinking is here take my sweater too.

We would be thinking, you are so lucky I don’t grab you and beat you!! But now turn it around and think how that thief would feel like hell came down on their head, if you turned and smiled at them and said oh here have my sweater too! They would think you went nuts and they would certainly think twice about walking off with your coat and sweater. They would be heaping coals on their own head. They would be so astounded I think they would give you your coat back and walk off wondering what just happened?

How many of us do such things? How many of us think only of ourselves and our own comfort? I know I sure do. But in learning and growing in the Lord, I pray that should such ever occur, I would do the noble thing and think to myself instead of you creepy jerk! Wow the need that prompted such an action as steaing my coat right off my back, deserves to be met. Here take my coat and here is my sweater for anyone who is with you, suffering with you. Then bring them to a shop and get them lunch as well. Can you imagine that soul being won for the Lord? I sure could! So now I pray Lord help me to be blessed enough to be such a blessing to others.

Father help me to love as you love. Lord help me to see the need behind the foul actions rather than looking at the outer, help me see the inner turmoil that has caused one to do things not of the norm. Let’s think of what 1 Corinthians 13 says, if we have all the gifts of the spirit but have no love we are as a sounding brass. Meaning we are nothingbecause if there is no love then God is not in you. if there is no love you are apostate or were never his to begin with. It is getting harder and harder to love in this crazy cruel world. The sorrow to be found on a daily basis makes one shudder.

The news is filled with horrible things going on all over the world. Each moment of every day there are things being reported by the media main stream and Christian, as well as not so known news outlet’s. These are designed by the enemy to rob us of the Love of the compassion and empathy needed to maintain and remain in love. By hearing all these things seeing pictures and videos of these things going on, we become complacent and apathetic. We become desensitized to them, as they are shown often. So that we stand on the side lines and say and do nothing anymore.

Love treads where fools refuse to go. We as lovers of God and each other must stand up. We must speak and contend for truth. We must argue out of love for truth. We must make known the things of God and especially the love of God. We must be examples of the exemplary love of God at all times at all costs. I know arguing does not sound like it is right. But when we aretalking about false teachings and false beliefs it is our duty to prove the word of God to those who are lost and or not understanding. We must always contend for the truth. it is so important to believe in the Lord in truth and spirit.

In closing I pray that the Lord will help you to see what is pure true love the kind of love we all dream of being and doing. I pray the Lord open each of our eyes but especially our hearts to true deep abiding love no matter what happens. Because if we lose the love then we have lost the race, and there is no second place we must be first! As it gets harder and harder to stay in love with God andeach other, may the Lord fill us with compassion and empathy to just keep on going in Him. He who endures till the end shall be saved. That is enduring in love come what may. I pray the Lord fills us each with strength to be doers of the word and not hearers only.

Blessings in Christ Jesus,
Tammy

God’s Purpose For Us Going Through The Tribulation

posted by PrayerWarrior

Time and again I hear those who believe they will not go through the tribulation say but why would God ever put us through the tribulation? He is a loving God! Yes He certainly is a loving God but He is also a just God and the judge and He chastens those He loves. He grows us and prunes us through trials and tribulations. He purifies us and builds us and brings us from glory to glory. He is making us into the very image of His son and if his son Jesus had to go through trials and tribulations and through the very furnace of affliction, what makes you lowly human, believe that you in your finite body and finite mind, will not go through the same?

Listen, we are all so very fragile in our trust of the Lord. We still get angry we still sin we still make people stumble we make ourselves stumble. No God is looking for a bride who is pure and chaste for His son. He is looking for a body who is one in mind and purpose. John tells us, he who says he is without sin is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 1 John 1:8. But let us allow the word of God to show us clearly about the tribulation we will go through and how only if we endure till Jesus comes, at the very end I might add, will we be saved.

Now I know you’re thinking yourself clever, in thinking yeah well what about those who die before it? Well that just means they have already been through a lot and look at 1 Peter 4:1. Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; So let us think about that for a mere moment. If you suffer in your flesh you cease from sinning. God wants us to be purified chastened and made perfect and Holy, he does not want a dirty sinner filled with pride and self-importance to be given to His son. I think personally it is the height of pride to think one’s self so wonderful and such a good Christian that they do not deserve to go through tribulation.

We all have hang ups and get angry and get insulted and offended and we become offensive and defensive in many ways. As Samuel Clemens or as you know him, Mark Twain said one hardly deals in truth when dealing with one’s self. I find so often the very truth of that statement. I personally dig deep to see if I am lying to myself in anyway. More often than not I find that yup I am in some small way, and then I repent of it. Liars ALL have their place in the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8. I find it so ridiculous that some sects of Christianity believe they can lie cheat steal, and commit all manner of sins, and they are still under grace. You are fallen!

Trials and tribulations can be a test of our love. They can reveal whom or what we love most in our lives. They reveal our priorities and wishes. The Lord wants us to love Him more than anybody else or anything else. The depth of our love for God is revealed during the times of trials. The Lord also wants us to love our fellowmen which includes even our enemies. Therefore trials and tribulations test our love towards God and our fellowmen. But let us begin with the many sets of verses that tell the story of our very own coming tribulation and God’s purpose in it.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ”? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”, Romans 8:35-39.

Now I want you all to notice something in this set of verses God never says once in here that you won’t lose your salvation, Love is not salvation! God loves us and the entire world, but He will not accept anyone who tries to sneak in a side door or bypass the son. He will not accept sin filled filthy people in His presence. He is too holy to look upon sin. Jesus when He not only took on our sin, but became that very sin cried out, My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me? He was that close with Him because He is one with Him. He felt the Father turn away from Him. Why, not because God stopped loving Him, but because God cannot look upon sin. The prophet Isaiah wrote, “Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear” (59:1-2). Sin cuts one off from God.

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 4 :44-48

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. ” I Corinthians 13: 4-7. Trials and tribulation also test our faith. . Do we believe in God even in the midst of pain and suffering? Do we believe in the promises of God even when everything looks impossible? Do we trust in God even if He does not deliver us? Do we trust in God even when we do not understand His ways and workings in our lives? The depth of our faith in God is revealed during times of trials and tribulations.

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith— of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire— may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.” I Peter 1:6-7. When is this going to show up well for us? That is when Jesus is revealed, and that is only at the end, on the very last day no less.

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform, Romans 4:16-21.

“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18. “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. …” Job 13:15. This here set of verses we know these three men of God were being thrown into the fieriest trials one could even imagine. Yet they showed no fear they trusted the Lord. Throughout the old and new testaments, we see people going through hellish trials, why do you oh silly Americans, think yourself of better repute than all they? I cannot think of myself as any other than I am, a very human human being.

Trials and tribulations can be a test of our obedience to God. Are we willing to obey God even when He commands us to do what we do not like or what we want to avoid? The Lord teaches us obedience by leading us through the path of trials and tribulations. It is the narrow path my friends and that is a very hard path! Matthew 7: 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; ” Hebrews 5: 7-8 ” And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 26:39

“Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD……He led you through the vast and dreadful desert, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. He gave you manna to eat in the desert, something your fathers had never known, to humble and to test you so that in the end it might go well with you.” Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 15-16.

Listen folks God is never changing and if he killed body and soul of those Israelites that complained and moaned and bewailed all the Lord had done for them, and looked back at their life of slavery as though it were better than the freedom the Lord set them to? What makes you think the Lord will look past your continued sin? Please really consider this in your heart, pray about it, call upon the Lord to reveal that very painful truth to you. He will, I promise!

“And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son. Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:5-11.

At times the Lord tests us by asking us to sacrifice things people or whatever it may be, to show how willing we are to do those painful things. He checks to see if we are willing to sacrifice for our love of God. Look at “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters— yes, even his own life— he cannot be my disciple. And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple……….In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26-33

“Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, Abraham! Here I am, he replied. Then God said, Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about….When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, Abraham! Abraham! Here I am, he replied. Do not lay a hand on the boy, he said. Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.

Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided. The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” Genesis 22:1-18.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. “John 12:24-26. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20″But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world”. Galatians 6:14.

One of the hardest aspects of being a Christian is humbling ourselves. Sometimes the Lord put’s us through trials and tribulations to humble us. Look at these verses! 1Corinthians 12:7-10
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11.

We are tested for endurance sake, as per these verses. “He sent a man before them– Joseph–who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD tested him. Psalms 105:17-19. “All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 24:8-13.

“But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. Hebrews 10:32-34. At times He tests our patience and or helps us to achieve patience. God will never give you patience, but will certainly bring you to it through trials.

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4″Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Hebrews 10:34-36.

“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. James 5 : 7-11.

“Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children, but she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar; so she said to Abram, The LORD has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her. Abram agreed to what Sarai said. Genesis 16:1-2. See what happens when we do not have patience? We do it all wrong because we do it according to our human understanding of man I am tired of waiting! We are going to have to wait through some very tough times which are coming and we must be prepared.

“He waited for seven days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. So he said, bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings. And Saul offered up the burnt offering. Just as he finished making the offering, Samuel arrived, and Saul went out to greet him. What have you done asked Samuel? Saul replied, When I saw that the men were scattering, and that you did not come at the set time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Michmash, I thought, ’Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the LORD’s favour.’ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering. You acted foolishly, Samuel said. You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the LORD’s command. ” 1 Samuel 13:8-14.

Remembering is a job of the Holy Spirit. He helps us to remember what we read days weeks, even months ago, to be able to put it all together for greater understanding. The whole bible without man’s understanding explains itself quite well. In fact it makes no sense what so ever if you merely read some of it and leave some out. You must have a complete education to graduate from elementary school, high school, and college. It is the same with the word of God. God’s word is complete and it will bring you through everything that is coming, but you must understand that you cannot go sinning as though you are not saved. What difference is there between you and the world if you go on sinning?

Jesus after healing people told them go and sin no more, and then explained that the demons come back with more demons, who are worse than they are, than before they were cast out, in Matthew 12:45. Believing a lie is as bad as telling a lie. When we choose to believe a lie it is because the truth hurts too much, and so many are believing a whole lot of lies. But in my personal opinion, hurtful truth is the very best kind of truth, because it always grows you. Friends when we are going through the hellish ordeal of the tribulation you have got to put your trust in the Lord to see you through it all. His strength His endurance, His peace His joy are the things that will see us through it all. He shows you when you put your trust in Him just why it is such a fabulous idea to do it. I know personally I do not trust my own strength nor my own abilities to face such hardship. But having the Lord seeing me through, I am ready!!

We are still so not pure or chaste neither have we been through enough to make us believe we do not need to go through trials and the tribulation. If you want to be called sons and daughters of the Lord then we need to go through tough mind blowing trials and tribulation. Remember Peter said he who suffers in the flesh ceases from sin. Expect it and know you can have the Lord help you to endure.

Blessings of understanding I pray for all those who read this Lord. I pray eyes are opened and ears hear what the Holy Spirit would have them hear and see, in Jesus name, amen.
Love in Christ Jesus, Tammy
