I have to say on doing more study of this particular subject,I feel I am in error about us following the Jewish holidays,Paul said in Colossians 2:16,17{16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
I spent a bit of time studying this and a few other verses, I cannot for the life of me remember right this second,but we are not subject to all the holy days of the Jews. Certainly if we wish to observe them, there is not an issue with God. Neither though do we have to celebrate the Jewish holy days.

While i am happy to see some people some times write about wolves in sheep’s clothing, I.E false teachers,I am leary of those who spend all of their time reporting and or searching for all things to report on. I do not believe God has set people to this task as he warns us ourselves to keep an eye out for them.
I personally find it tedious and can see no way to be happy in the Lord which is what God wants for us all. All of the time the Lord wants us to be filled with Joy always and every day. He sets our paths and expects us to follow his leading. He is always sounding alarm bells within me personally and I do believe he sets alarm bells in every Christian who seriously reads their bible,and live by the word.
In Ephesians 6 he tells us to put on the whole armor of the Lord. Which is,The belt of Truth,we know truth by reading his word Deut. 4:39; Psalm 23:1; 18:1-3. Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS,putting Jesus in us Psalm 100:3; Rom. 3:23-24, 6:23; Gal. 2:20-21; Phil. 3:8-10. Sandals of PEACE,Inner peace and readiness Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:14; John 14:27, 16:33, 20:21.. Shield of FAITH,Living by faith Rom. 4:18-21; Heb. 11:1; 1 Pet. 1:6-7. Helmet of SALVATION, Salvation through Christ today and forever Each day: Ps. 16, 23; Heb. 1:3-6 For eternity: 2 Cor. 4:16-18; 1 Thess. 4:17; 1 John 3:1-3. Sword of the spirit GOD’S WORD, God’s Word countering spiritual deception and accusations Heb. 4:12; Matt. 4:2-11; 1 Pet. 3:15; Ps. 119:110-112. If we entrench ourselves in the word, our very lives into Gods own words by which we live, we cannot be fooled.
The Lord has a very meaningful message to us all when he says to honor one another. How can one honor someone when they are throwing accusations at them? My meaning here is this! Not one of us has the right to decide what anyone else should or should not be teaching. If we find that something someone said does not fit with our understanding of the word then leave off and go your way. Some people are simply going to be amazed at who is in Heaven and who is not,when judgment day comes. But I know as well as I know my name, God is not going to be thrilled with those who threw accusations at others especially since they cannot know rather God sent that person or not, to do that very job another preacher is tearing down. In other words I refuse to believe one person over another’s teachings, until i can hear for myself what is being said.

Kudos for the strong exhortation to your readers to ‘test the spirits to see whether they be of God’, certainly that is a most critical discipline today. As Sovereign Master over His sheep, God graciously grants to each divers gifting, and, like Jude, Yeshua’s half-brother, some of us are called to contend and stand as watchmen against the unrelenting tide of apostasy in pulpits across America.

Yeshua exhorted us to hold fast that which we have been given that no man lead us astray with “vain philosophy” (Col 2:8), as many are doing while panting after everything but God: contemplative, ‘Goth liturgy’, candle labyrinths, emergent, spiritual formation, etc. Practices from which the Reformers fled, in favor of Sola Scriptura, Sola Gracia, Sola Fide, Sola Christo, Sola Deo Glorio! As we march toward the time of Christ’s return, He forerwarned His “little flock” of those who would seek to make “merchandise” of us, and/or preach to us “another gospel” other than the one “delivered once for all”. Lastly, rather than having ‘nothing better to do’, perhaps such brethren have been called to the cyber-field to work as a colaborer with the Lord?
