The Great Apostasy

posted by PrayerWarrior

On studying the end times like mad since I do love prophecy,I have discovered a few very important facts, and have since changed my mind on pretribulation Rapture. I now believe that the great tribulation the wrath of God the 7 Trumpets sounding ,is the time we will be raptured. Meaning the seven seals will be broken open and then the Seven Trumpets will be sounded and those are called Judgements. The great day of the Lord, the wrath of the Lamb comes after the seventh Trumpet at which time the Angel will sound the last trumpet, and thats when we will be raptured. Now I know this is going to be unpopular with many, and thats ok,this is not a salvation issue. I do however believe that almost all of the people who have thought and looked forward to being rescued before the tribulation, are going to be the ones who will turn away from all they have known, for the simple fact that they do not understand why they are still here, and will have believed they were not due to suffer anything.

Now I am going to share with you all the verses in the bible that make me believe this,as well as the many prayers I have said to the Lord to please Father show me the truth. My wonderful Husband was the first one to point out a few verses to me,I am so proud of my Husband and how quickly he has learned so very much. More than that how much the Lord has worked in my husband.
The first verses that I have wrestled with for Quite some time, are

Matthew 24:29-31″IMMEDIATELY AFTER” the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ” Rev 11:15 And then he sends Wrath down from the clouds for 3 years, followed by His Millenial Reign on earth.
The reason Paul gives as to how believers know they haven’t missed it,¬† is because certain events must occur before the Rapture:

2Thess 2:1-4
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him we ask you, brothers not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day (the coming of the Lord and the Rapture) will not come until
1. the turning away occurs and
2. the man of lawlessness  is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God‚Äôs temple, proclaiming himself to be God. Notice that “the day of the Lord” spoken of throughout 1st and 2nd Thessalonians is revealed here to incorporate both the coming of the Lord and the Rapture. (“Our being gathered to him”) Notice the correlation of this “gathering” with Matthew 24 which I also mention above.

The “rebellion” or “falling away” he refers to is also mentioned in Matthew 24:10,11 “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.” “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. (3.5 years)” Dan 7:25 This is speaking of Christians. We Christians are the saints.

Coming as a Thief in the night refers not to “in secrecy”, but rather to “surprise”.Some have proposed that the Lord’s coming it speaks of in 1Thess 4 is not the same as the Lord’s coming spoken of as elsewhere, but rather it is a secret coming. That is Jesus tiptoes into the world and takes his believers away secretly. The “secret coming” theory is based upon the fact that at times his coming is likened to a thief coming in the night. But notice the context when the Bible likens the Lord’s coming as a thief in the night.

1Thess 5:2-4 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. So also Peter writes, “the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.” 2Peter 3:10 “But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” Luke 12:39,40

1Thess 4:16 speaks of the trumpet call of God, as does 1Corinthians 15:51,52 both with reference to the Rapture event. But Corinthians specifies it as the LAST TRUMPET. “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed‚ÄĒin a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.” Rev 11:15 And goes on to say in vs 18 “The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints.”
While the Rapture is a Pre-Wrath event in that it occurs before the 3 years of the bowls of wrath, it is not a Pre-Trib event, given what Revelation and Matthew 24 describe of events prior to the last trumpet sounding.

attempts to defend the Pre-Trib Rapture theory with 2Thess 2:7, that verse absolutely does not support such a theory.
“For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work;
but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.”
I agree with the idea that it is most likely speaking of the Holy Spirit holding back the lawlessness in the world. We notice in Romans 1 for example it speaks of God “giving them over to their sinful desires” and “to a depraved mind” and so forth, implying that God was holding them back from such corruption. So also I can imagine He’s doing the same concerning the restraint of lawlessness on a larger scale across the world. Even Romans 1 gives examples of God giving people over to their passions, and yet the Church is still here! It is not the Church which restrains the world. It’s the Spirit. The time will come when the Spirit limits its influence to the Church. That’s what it’s speaking of.

2Thess 2:8 The Lawless One is revealed after such restraint is lifted, not to mention the rebellion. But the verses prior to that (vs 1-4) indicate that the Rapture occurs some time after the lawless one is revealed, which must be some time after the restraint is lifted. The verses prior to that (vs 1-4) indicate that the Rapture occurs some time after the lawless one is revealed, as I pointed out above, which must be some time after the restraint is lifted, indicating that the Church is still on earth.
2Thess 2:7, rather than reading the verse in context. For the context teaches that the rebellion and the revealing of the lawless one occurs before the Rapture. (Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way)

Matthew 24:9-10) Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name‚Äôs sake. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other.15) Therefore when you see the ‚Äėabomination of desolation,‚Äô spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (Dan 9:27) (whoever reads, let him understand) … (21) For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet,¬† (1Thess 4:16) and they will gather together His elect (2Thess 2:1) from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.(The Rapture).

I do not want to argue this point, but in studying and having questions no one could seem to answer me on, of the pretrib thinkers,I had to do what the Lord told me to do. Read the bible literally. Unless it is being spoken of as a parable.
The reason for this article is that I love everyone, and I do not wish to see those I know who are pretribbers, turn from their first Love. Is this all one of satans lies? 2Thess 2:11 Is this the delusion God will send so that people may believe a lie? and thats what makes the people fall away or the apostasy? The pretrib Rapture? Thus now the man of perdition can be revealed?
Does this tickle the hearers ears? Thinking they will be totally safe from any harm that comes to the saints? I beseech all of you to come back and read this if you see many of the signs of the seals and or trumpet judgements in Revelation occurring, when you think you are not supposed to be here.

If the news reports a 1/4 of man kind across the world has died of famine and diseases asscoiated with malnourishment and that the beasts are attacking people and killing them, and then sometime not too long after, a world wide earthquake happens. You need to realise that the pretrib rapture is or was a lie. Do not turn away don’t do it, don’t be a part of the GREAT! apostacy.
I sincerely hope I am wrong about this, but the Lord had me questioning quite a few things about a pretrib rapture. In praying hard, very hard over and over again, about the Lord helping me to always always keep my faith in him strong, and never let me turn away, these were the answers I received through his word and through my husband discovering quite a few discrepancies in a pretrib rapture theory

Also I read this very past week where farmers were freaking out about ravens, big black crows, attacking adult cows and sheep and goats and killing them by ganging up and ripping them apart. The people who have found these animals that have been ripped to shreds by the ravens, were so distraught they had to seek counseling.
Sounds to me like animals or beasts of the earth are starting with other animals, and then whats next, people? Sounds like seals have been opened, I think we are on number three.

“Going The Wrong Direction”

posted by PrayerWarrior

People all around the world are searching, looking in the wrong direction for immortality. I know The Lord in heaven offers immortality and Eternal life with him. If you just surrender your life back to Him. He gave His Sons life for you and me and for everyone. He reconciled sin through the innocent and perfect blood of the lamb. The one time only needed sacrifice, in the form of God in the flesh as the son. Too many people today are running away from the Lord when they should be running to the Lord. This life here on earth is nothing but the prelude to our eternal life. We are learning who God is, right where it counts, to the very core of us in our hearts in our very souls. We are here on this earth, Purposed to be loved and to love Him. He created us for the express purpose to love us.Eph 1:3-12

We humans only know the fleshly love. We do not know the spiritual love of God The Father,John 6: 38-40. until you hand him back your life. When you sit down and speak to God one on one. When you realize you are nothing, not a speck of dust, compared to the greatness of God. When you finally see his Glory His perfection, Philippians 2:9-11, but more than that He fills all the dark and empty places inside you with Joy. With a love so profound you can scarcely house it in your shell, your body. So imagine if you will for a few minutes, if you can feel that kind of love here on earth, still in your mortal form, when you are with him face to face, and you have eternity with him to love him, and be loved by him, how much greater the joy will be?
No ear has heard no eye has seen what God has in store for those who are in the book of life (1 Corinthians 2:9).. Those who have accepted Jesus Christs’ sacrifice of his own life Hebrews 7:27. Caring so much about mankind, He came to earth to put himself in your shoes John 3:16, to live and feel as man feels Hebrews 2:14 , to live a perfect life, and then die a sinners death, To take on the sins of the entire world. He became sin Jesus Christ loved you enough to suffer horribly, beaten beyond recognition, To be tortured for speaking truth that the whole world would know his love.
Only God can and will wipe away sin. He is the cleanser that we all must accept. God loves the whole world and does not wish to lose one person not one.He does however read hearts and he knows when or if a heart is truly seeking him. If He finds your heart truly seeking and looking for the whole unvarnished truth, then he reveals himself to you. Oh what an exciting moment that is, when you finally see and hear truth John 9:39, “Jesus said, ‘For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see.” And John 12:46, “I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me might not remain in darkness.”. Suddenly the song Amazing grace takes on a whole new meaning. I once was blind but now I see is an amazing line, and I never knew just how profound a meaning there is in such a small line.

We all must ask ourselves what is it we hope to gain by listening to man and their lies, rather than seeking out truth and finding it in God? Why is it that the whole United states and many countries in the world are turning away from Christ, and truth, and seeking mans supposed truth to put their faith in? Then they say this world has gone nuts, and they add to the worlds nuttyness by turning away from Christ and heading in the wrong direction. I am sure this is the great apostacy that Christ warned of in the last days. Men women and children turning away from Christ sadly. I have even seen elderly folks, who once were servants to the Lord saying ahhhh God is a part of me it is up to me to find the way, the truth as they see it.  We are all according to some, part of God. We are all no matter what religion according to these folks, going to live in eternity with God, but I tell you true, unless you turn to Jesus, unless you ask forgiveness of your sins, and realize you can do nothing,  you are nothing without God,  without the covering, cloaking blood of Jesus Christ you will not be asked in, nor hear the words welcome good and faithful servant. I myself can do nothing without God. I praise God that he saw fit to clean my eyes and ears out and fill me with truth.

It is like going down a one way street in the wrong direction and then getting into a head on collision, and wondering why or how this happened. To turn from God is to turn your life onto a collision course with hell. Eternal seperation from God the father. John 3:17‚Äď18, “For God sent not the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He who believes in him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already.”
God does not need you, but He wants you, He desires you! When you let him know you want him too, the amazing affirmations he gives you astound, and bring great joy to your heart and soul. Psalm 43:4 “Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is fullness of joy; in thy right hand are pleasures forevermore”.

He gives you a verse not in your head, but within your normal studies of his word, and then two or three different ways, through out the day, shows your heart that this is truth. He fills us with knowledge we never thought we had or would have, and gifts.Exodus 31:3″I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, It is only through him that this great wisdom and discernment comes 1 Corinthians 12:8-11. The Lord commands us to come out of the world. To be from the world but not of the world”Be ye not equally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?¬† And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?¬† And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.¬† Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,¬† And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. ” –¬† 2 Cor.¬† 6:14-18.

¬†We are not to worry about the things of the earth. No worrying about hair or what you look like to others. No worrying about having more money than others. Having a bigger house or a better paying job than someone else,no jealousy, which the world is full of jealous covetous folks “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,¬† Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” – 2 Tim. 3:1-5. Thinking no one deserves what they worked so hard for. This is not what life is about. What it is about,¬† is working on your eternal life, Your eternal rewards Rev. 22:12 (Look! I am coming soon, and my reward is with me to pay each one according to what he has done!

It is hungering for eternity. It is starving to learn more about God in preperation for our future life at home with him. He wants us to look forward to our home coming. To really be seperate from those of the world. To hate the things of earth so much, that we cannot wait for the moment when he calls us all home.

Are you yet hating your life on earth ? Every where I look there is darkness, it is walking the earth same as in the days of Noah. No I do not hate my life, I love being alive now, because I am already feeling as though I am part of eternity. Now that I know the Lord and have been saved, made anew. I look forward to every day waking up and learning more about my father in heaven. In preperaion of my eternal life in my real home Heaven.

Then you have the other side of the coin which is why I am looking forward to life eternal more and more each day. Things are now only evil all of the time Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. There is nothing but hatred and lust and anger everywhere it abounds. Murderous hearts all over. No love for anyone only things. Parents killing children, children killing parents. Children killing one another,  I might add without cause.
Selfishness all over the place. Everyone thinking themselves better than everyone else.  Evil conspiring against God and man since the beginning of time. Now man is helping evil more than ever to conspire aganst itself. Some one once told me not long ago, that I am a conspiracy theorist and that I should have more faith in man kind. WRONG!! Oh yes I am a conspiracy theorist, but I do not place misguided faith in fallible man. I do not trust our government nor the media to tell us truth and lead us the correct ways. Evil has been working on the worlds governments, and media for a long time, and holds seats right in government, and has been working on destroying us. Why would I not think and feel that Evil is winning many in this world? Those who follow satan what a laugh,as if he loves them.I have news for you people, satan hates you as much as he hates God, even those who are faithful to him he hates. Satan is hatred and darkness, and God is Light and Love.

Does God hate, can God hate? Oh yes he can and does. You see God is perfect and sinless so he hates sin. What are we? We are sinners, does God hate us? No God loves us he hates our sinfilled state, when he looks at us he sees our dirty filthy sin, until the time that you have accepted his sacrifice. ‚ÄúYe adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God,‚ÄĚ James 4:4.
Repent all of you who have not done so as of yet. Repent means…To feel such regret for past conduct as to change one’s mind, To make a change for the better as a result of remorse or contrition for one’s sins.
May God Bless and lead you all to repentance and salvation.

One of my favorite points so far is when we talk about Joseph and how God always has a plan. Every obstacle Joseph faced just led him closer to the plan God had for his life. Knowing that nothing comes against us without the Lord’s knowledge of it before it happens, nails down how we need to trust Him when we would rather be offended. The Devil tries to destroy believers, but the Creator strengthens them in the faith and sets them ready for the main spiritual mission: to be a living witness and light in a world that is in anguish and spiritual darkness. Every trial and every suffering can help us develop our Christian perspective. Before glorification can take place, we will go through many trials. This is nothing new, just the truth of the matter. We live in a world that is plagued by sin, hardship, and evil. And as such, we will endure such things until Christ returns. However, in spite of such trials we are able to rejoice, for we know that our salvation is in Christ and not of this world. We rejoice for our inheritance is secured in heaven. We rejoice for we know the future will be a bright place, beyond the darkness of this world. Persecution will come and we are encouraged to remember the hope.

Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. (James 1:2-3)

Anyone who has been to school knows what it means to be tested. But few understand that, spiritually speaking, the true purpose of a test is to see what you know.If you have accepted your assignment, studied the material and prepared properly, the result of the test is a foregone conclusion: you receive a reward in the form of a good grade and advancement. If you’re prepared, your trials provide you with an opportunity to “show your spiritual growth!”

Working through our tests from beginning to end is much easier when we understand that God has a purpose for our problems and trials.God understands that the process is as important as the result. That’s why He sometimes elects not to deliver us from certain situations.

The Lord gives us a precious promise in I Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation [test or trial] has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide a way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it”. ‘There are few experiences on earth that match the excitement of seeing God turn trials into triumph. But that transformation is a process, not an event.

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12) So though we all go through trials and trying times sometimes the learning we do from our detractors is more than what we learn from others agreeing with us. For me anyway this has happened.Sometimes God is even cutting things out of our lives, even some people. God knows your yesterdays and your tomorrows, he sees what is ahead for us all. When you have to say goodbye to people that are not good for your life, that is often the hardest to take. But knowing the Lord knows what is best for you and how it is best for you to be more fruitful, We must just accept that. I have had to say goodbye to many people I care about, But I also know that I am learning a lot more without certain people in my life.

We are all told we must all of us, who are born again, lead others to Christ. While we are furthering God’s kingdom, he is building our mansions in his house, as well as building our treasures up. Sadly I had to say goodbye to quite a few friends. I will forever pray for those I had to say goodbye to.

When God is pruning and shaping our lives he has to throw the weeds away, and cut the unfruitful parts of our lives off from us. Then as we know he fertilizes us with his word, we know pruned and weeded plants yeild more fruit or flowers, then we become the fruitful Christians he wants us to be. So trials are one thing we must praise God for. Each trial strengthens us and grows us, into who we are meant to be, for the growing of Gods kingdom.

Pray without ceasing

posted by PrayerWarrior

Prayer is mentioned in the Bible five hundred forty¬† five times (in 511 verses). Jesus is mentioned in¬† connection with prayer sixty-two times (e.g. Matthew¬† 14:23; 26:36, 39, 42, 44; Mark 1:35; 6:46; 14:32, 35,¬† 39; John 14:16; 17:9-11, 20). He is known to have¬† prayed on at least twenty-two different occasions. We¬† may think a half hour is a long time to pray, but God‚Äôs¬† Son sometimes spent whole nights in prayer (Luke 6:12).¬† Much of his last hours of freedom on earth were spent¬† in prayer (John 17), as were some of his last breaths¬† (Luke 23:34, 46). It is safe to say that no one ever understood and practiced prayer as Jesus did. He¬† encouraged his disciples to pray and inspired them by¬† his example. Luke, more than the other writers, takes¬† notice of Christ‚Äôs praying. Luke‚Äôs ‚ÄúGospel of Prayer‚Ä̬† gives at least twelve references to Jesus‚Äô prayer life.

 At his baptism (3:21).2
When his fame spread abroad (5:16).
Before naming his twelve apostles (6:12).
 Before feeding the 5,000 (9:16).
¬†Before asking, ‚ÄúWhom do men say that I am?‚ÄĚ (9:18).
Prior to his transfiguration (9:28, 29).
When he rejoiced in spirit (10:21).
When his disciples asked for instruction on prayer (11:1).
For Peter’s faith to fail not (22:32).
Before his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane (22:41-44).
 While on the cross (23:34).
Before eating bread with the disciples at Emmaus (24:30).

¬†As we look at these references, we can make several¬† observations. First, we see that Jesus prayed before¬† making major decisions. As his church, we need to pray¬† before appointing elders and deacons, hiring preachers, selecting missionaries, beginning projects, and before¬† merging with other congregations or planting new¬† churches. Second, we observe that Jesus prayed when¬† facing trials. When congregations go through trying¬† times, they need to increase their prayer time. Third,¬† Jesus prayed on ‚Äúordinary‚ÄĚ days (Mark 1:35). He¬† never got too busy to pray ( 1 Kings 20:40). His¬† church needs to remember to rely on prayer during¬† ‚Äúnon-crisis‚ÄĚ time. We must not get too busy with¬† emphasizing the next project or activity that we forget¬† to thank God for the success of the last one. We must¬† not get so busy enjoying past success that we forget to¬† pray for upcoming activities.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†
¬†1.Remember Solomon‚Äôs prayer at its dedication included¬†¬† the fact it would be known as a ‚Äúhouse of prayer for¬†¬† all nations‚ÄĚ ( 1 Kings 8:41-48).
2.Interestingly, all the three voices from heaven, by   which the Father bare witness to the Son, were   pronounced while he was praying, or soon after, here,   Luke 9:35 and John 12:28.

In 1st Thess 5:17 it says “Pray without ceasing”. We know it is very very true that what the Lord desires is a¬† relationship of perfect communication with us. How do we¬† communicate with our God if we are not praying without ceasing?¬†¬†¬†
we will take a look at the prayer Jesus said was the    perfect prayer,no one said it better than Tim Lahaye in  the book named, Johns Story.I have broken it down for you below.
 The our father.

Our Father Who Art In Heaven Hallowed Be Thy Name- Oh Father  your name is so Holy.
Thy kingdom come Thy will be done, on earth as it is in  Heaven- Yes Father your will not my own,be done Just like it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread- Yes Lord feed us with  your word, Fill us up with it.
Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us- Yes Father please forgive us our sins, and help us to forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil-Yes Father do not let us be tempted into sinning, keep evil away from us.
For thine is the kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever and  ever.Last part is self explanatory.

In the forum in this site, I have a nice long series going, called Pray without ceasing. It is an excellent excellent preaching by Charles Spurgeon that explains so very well how to pray with out ceasing. Please come back often and click on the forum on the right side tab in white lettering.

God Bless you all and keep you as Light in a dark world and plenty salty.
