First of all there is so much daily being said about the problems between Syria and Isreal, that I surely think, soon very soon Isaiah 17 ‘s prophecy will be fulfilled. Also daily we are hearing a little bit more about the world wide famines going on and how much worse it is going to get. Mark 13:7 says And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. Then 8 says For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
These are the beginnings of sorrows!! Thats right, for two months now the Lord has given me to know these lines very well. Also God has shown me we will suffer persecutions. Verse 9 says, But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. This verse does tell me we will be suffering persecutions. Are you ready,mind, body, and soul?
I believe that isaiah 17 will ocurr thus making Isreal have a feeling of security,but all the while that peace and safety they feel, is going to be a very false peace and safety. I think that the rest of the world who are crying out loud for the very destruction of Isreal will, once they see Damascus destroyed, do all their nefarious planning in quiet. I do think that we will be here still for this destruction of Damascus, and even a little time after it,while the battle of Gog, Magog or Ezekiels battle is being prepared.
1st Thess 5:3 says For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. Why would Isreal be saying ahhh peace and safety if they are not feeling that way? This is where Ezekiel 38 picks up Ezek 38:8 says After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. 9 says Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. We know that we must be out of here for Isreal to realise that God is still with them. We know that the Lord will remove us as soon as the times of the gentiles be fulfilled. We know that Isreal will then mourn over the fact, that they killed their own Messiah.
Zech 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The battle of Ezekiel we know God will wipe them out with fire,then Isreal will surely turn their eyes back to the Lord,with blinders removed, since we will be gone. You see I believe we will be gone by the time Gog Magog heats up to the crescendo. I believe that is how Isreal will wake up , the moment we are gone and those of the messianic Jews are gone, then Isreal will realise very quickly that we Christians and messianic Jews, whom the Orthodox Jews hate, knew what we were talking about. I believe the rapture will take place nearly at the same moment as Gog, Magog occurs.
I think that when Damascus is blown away completely there will be a lull in all war talk. Look at when NY city had 2 buildings destroyed,the world was very quiet for about a year.Imagine the complete destruction of an entire city,but not only the fact that it is a city but the worlds oldest city? That will be something. I also believe that is when the USA will turn it’s back on Isreal. Right now the U.S is still on Isreals side or making it appear so anyway. Though with friends like the U.S. who needs enemies. Working to get Isreal to give up any of their inheritted land is a bad choice. Especially since we have seen what Isreal giving up land does for them. It gets them deeper into trouble with all around them. It does not solve issues for them, on the contrary muslims look at it as a sign of weakness and attack all the harder.
To summarise I will say this, I think and feel that Isreal and Syria very shortly will get into a nasty little battle. I believe Isreal will blow away Damascus with a nuke. I believe the whole world is going to be shocked into behaving for a little bit. Also I think that after this little problem with Syria and Isreal, Russia and Iran and Lebanon and all the company of Ezekiels battle are going to be planning to attack Isreal. I believe many who thought Jesus would have come, before we are to suffer a bit, will turn away. I also believe at thise time, many who have been holding off on coming to the Lord will hurry to accept His Free gift of Love, His son Jesus Christ. I think that all things will come together in this way. It feels like this is the message I get from reading about it,studying about it,in the bible of course, and reading others thoughts on it as well.
Keep looking up and no matter what persecutions you might be going through rather finanacial or emotional or physical, The Lord is waiting on you to turn it over to him. He is just a mention of his name away. When you call out to the Lord he hears immediately ,better yet he knew you would come to him that moment, so he has your answer all prepared. Even if it is not the answer you wanted, know that God knows our yesterdays, and all of our tomorrows. He knows how best, to answer your every prayer.
If you do not know Jesus as your personal savior please do not wait. I could be totally wrong, and the Lord could come tonight. Don’t be left behind. Come to the Lord right now, accept him as your savior.
