Pray out May 14th Isreals 60th re-birthday

posted by PrayerWarrior

I am posting this to let any or all who wish to join in this pray out to please do so.  I and many others with me are trying to get every Christian in America to come together on May 14th 2008 at 10 p.m eastern time, 9 p.m central time, 8 p.m mountain time, and  7 pm western time to pray for strength for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ , and that God would pour out his spirit on us all and also that the Lord will forgive America her sins. At the end of the prayer, which I will ask many pastors to come up with, a 7 minute prayer for all of us to voice together in our house or church or outside our homes, at the same time,at the same hour, and all of us after our amen is said, yell out hallelujah. I do believe in the power of prayer as a great tool and our strongest weapon against the enemey satan. I was so delighted and amazed to know that not only had God this week poured out a message on myself, about  all of us needing strength for the coming hard times, but also two seperate pastors (that I know of) feeling the same exact thing from the Lord this week. What a joy it is to be a part of the body of Christ, and to know that each part of the body is getting this same message as all the other parts of the body. I pray that any of you who read this will pass this along in emails and in churches in grocery stores where ever you are please pass the message along, so that come May 14th we will all be voicing the same prayers altogether crying out to our Lord with one voice, what a powerful wondrous thing I know the Lord will do with this.

Wake up oh sleepers. I AM coming with the sound of the trumpet. Do not be caught asleep. Keep watch. Nation; Why do you not take heed to MY words? Come out of the world with it’s lusts. The road of lust leads to destruction and ruin. I know the plans MY Father has for HIS children. So do be alert. Keep looking up. The time grows near. So many think they are awake, but they are sleeping and yea do not even see it. Take to heart MY words¬† Come and repent. MY arms are open wide. There is room for all. COME! Repent now. Believe in ME. If you fail to take heed to MY words, or reject MY messenger, I will reject you. Again I say, do not be caught asleep.”

As my heart cries out to the Lord for a visitation of His Holy Spirit I pray…

Lord we seek You, the lover of our souls. There is nothing we can do without You. We humble ourselves to You. Lord, I seek You with my whole heart. I cry out to Your for revival for this nation Lord. We humble ourselves to You that we might be a holy people before You Lord. You said a broken and contrite heart You would not despise and we offer that up to You Lord as a sacrifice. We need You more than life itself. I thank You for the work You did on the cross for us Lord. I thank You for the nails in Your hands. You alone are worthy to be worshipped. Consume us with Your fire that we may be a purified and holy pople for You, Jesus. I ask that You return us to our first love. Lord set us aflame for You that we might go to the nations sharing Your story and love. We choose You Lord. Burn in us to give us back our lost desire and restore in us the love we once felt for you. We cry out to You Lord saying we are sorry. You alone are able to draw us Lord and I ask that You do that. I pray that we might lift You up to the Highest place that is rightfully Yours, Lord. You are rightfully adored. Reform our country Lord. Change us for the better because we have first sought You. Once again Lord I say we humble ourselves before You Almighty Father. We bow our knee to You alone for You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Visit our churches break down barriers. Unite Your people. Thank You for the righteousness You offer us when we bow ourselves low in Your presence. You said we are like filthy rags but You O Lord clothe us with righteousness. Awaken us again Lord. We desire You. Come down in power and revelation. We are knocking on the door of Heaven seeking You Lord. We cry our for this generation. Our eyes flow with tears down our faces Lord and we come on our knees seeking You. Help us to return to our prayer closets. We are desperate Lord for You.Create in us a clean heart. O God. Make Yourself known. We want to see You high and lifted up shining in the light of Your glory. Pour out Your power and love as we sing Holy Holy Holy. In Jesus great name  Amen.

This is such an appropriate prayer for that day,but I invite any to submit to me what they would like to add to this prayer for May 14th 2008. This prayer written by a woman known as Donnaemmom.

May we all seek his face, may we all praise Him, may we all worship Him, with our hands our feet, and our voices.

Praise you God in Heaven for all your blessings that you pour out on us every day.

God Bless you all, love in Christ Jesus, PrayerWarrior/Tammy

Please pass the word along to all you know, and your churches and pastors all over the United States. Let’s come together my brothers and sisters and seek his face.

Guilt or Conviction?

posted by PrayerWarrior

The other day I was reading through some old posts of a Christian forum, and a man was asking if anyone else has an issue with a sin they just cannot seem to give up and the guilt of committing a sin over and over again. He asked is anyone out there going through the same thing, some other men knew what he was talking about and gave great advice, and one woman said she did not understand but that she would not let the guilt of a sin steal her joy in the Lord away. This is a very wrong way to think. If we as Christians do not feel guilt then we cannot be convicted of our sin. We cannot repent from the sin if we do not feel guilt over it. Further more if we push away our guilt, we are in essence pushing the spirit away. The job of the spirit, the very reason we invite the spirit in is to change us, make us new, show us our sins that we may seek forgiveness and be relieved of our guilty status as well as all the other works the spirit does in us. If you can so easilly push asside your guilt, and convictions that you are sinning, then you cannot have the spirit living in you. The Lord convicts us, He makes us know if we are sinning, if we are partaking of the world. If we are not convicted or made to feel guilty when we sin, then havent we just denied the very purpose of why Christ was sent, crucified, and resurrected? Personally I could not have the joy I have in the Lord, if I was not being shown every day in some way that I have been chosen to be forgiven. If I did not have convictions I would begin to wonder where has the spirit gone? So in reading that post on that forum, I decide to write an article on conviction and guilt.God Bless and keep us all ever growing in strength, and knowledge of his word.

John 16:8 (NEB) “When he [the Holy Spirit] comes, he will convict the world, and show where right and wrong and judgment lie. He will convict them of wrong…”The first work of the Holy Spirit is the conviction of sin. If we are temples of the Spirit, His presence, His name in us will convict us, and others, of sin. We will feel more affinity towards those who, like us, long for more conviction, repentance, and the power of God to live a life that will stand the test of fire. When Holiness Comes In Contact With Unholy Men

Mat 10:34 (NAS) “Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” Whenever Jesus showed up, He brought division among men. He brought inner peace to a few, but outward hostility among people who were getting along fine until He showed up. Christ’s Spirit is the great polarizer, wedge driver, sword. If this same Spirit lives in us, we should expect that we too will illuminate what eternal side people are on. Agents of Conviction

2 Cor 2:15-16 (Phi) We Christians have the unmistakable “scent” of Christ, discernible alike to those who are being saved and to those who are heading for death. To the latter it seems like the deathly smell of doom, to the former it has the refreshing fragrance of life itself.

Prov 24:24-25 (NIV) Whoever says to the guilty, “you are innocent”–peoples will curse him and nations denounce him. But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come upon them.

It should not surprise us that as we follow Christ, people who want to remain in sin will start to get uncomfortable around us; that we will be accused of being “judgmental” before we have said a word, and that in general we are disliked and avoided for the sake of His name. Others will be attracted to us for this same reason. This is sure proof of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. If this does not happen, can anyone rightly claim to have a measure of the Holy Spirit? Holiness, by its very nature, illuminates sin in sharp relief. Eph 5:11,13 (NIV) Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose [YLT: convict] them… Everything exposed by the light becomes visible.

The Privilege of ConvictionOswald Chambers: “Conviction of sin is one of the rarest things that ever strikes a man. It is the threshold of an understanding of God. Jesus Christ said that when the Holy Spirit came He would convict of sin, and when the Holy Spirit rouses the conscience and brings him into the presence of God, it is not his relationship with men that bothers him, but his relationship with God.”

Prophecy and ConvictionJohn 12:43 (NIV) For they loved praise from men more than praise from God.

We prophecy whenever we speak on God’s behalf. This can be done by saying “The Lord says…” or by representing what God says as a pastor, preacher, Bible study leader, or in simple Christian witnessing. We are all to aspire to speak God’s word (1 Cor 14:1), which brings conviction that leads to repentance and salvation… or can also lead to rejection of the Holy Spirit and to God’s wrath if refused. It is God’s will that–whatever the result–we speak His word.

Jer 35:15 (NIV) “Again and again I sent all my servants, the prophets, to you. They said, ‘Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions…’ But you have not paid attention or listened to me.” (2 Chr 7:14)

“Encouraging” People To Remain In Sin…A false prophet is one who represents God’s word incorrectly. When we speak on behalf of our God, are we saying what He wants, or are we promoting our own program under His banner? False prophets are more interested in making friends than disciples, more interested in pleasing men than God. If we falsely represent what God requires, we not only encourage others to reject God’s message, but we share in the judgment of those we have failed to convict of sin.

Eze 3:18-19 (NIV) “When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.”

Eze 3:20-21 (NIV) “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”

But That’s Not Very Encouraging!John 16:13 (Phi) “Yet when that one I have spoken to you about comes–the Spirit of truth–he will guide you into everything that is true.”

The Holy Spirit never encourages our carnal nature–the flesh. The truth is, our carnal desires and nature must die. We are wicked people. Since we long to fellowship with an utterly holy God, somebody has got to change, and it will not be God. God offers eternal encouragement by the way of the Gospel: death, burial, and resurrection. The starting point is the truth. The truth convicts: we are guilty of sin. Conviction is the first step in the cycle of sanctification, and we should expect it and welcome it as it does its deadly work on the old man.

Phil 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure…

John 8:32 (Phi) “…and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

Short Circuiting the Holy Spirit1 Jn 1:8-10 (Phi) If we refuse to admit that we are sinners, then we live in a world of illusion and the truth becomes a stranger to us. But if we freely admit that we have sinned, we find him reliable and just–he forgives our sins and makes us thoroughly clean from all that is evil. For if we say “we have not sinned”, we are making him a liar and cut ourselves off from what he has to say to us.

A Guilt Trip Encouraged by the Apostle Paul2 Cor 7:8-11 (NIV) Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it–I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while–yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow has produced in you…

Guilt Problems Jer 6:15 (NIV) “Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush… ” Often people complain of guilt problems, but guilt and conviction are usually the result of sin. Sin is the problem, guilt is the symptom. Most of us have a sin problem, not a guilt problem. Solving The Symptom, Or The Problem?Imagine the scandal of someone putting a baby who has a fever into the freezer to “solve the symptom”. “Hey, the kid was hot, we had to cool him down.” Attempting to solve symptoms, rather than problems, inevitably makes the problem worse.

Yet some in the modern church have made an industry of “solving the guilt symptom”–to the spiritual demise of many. We pay money to have someone make us feel good without repentance; to give us the temporary illusion of God’s approval of our sin; to assuage our guilt with smooth words. But unless the sin which caused the guilt is dealt with, any relief is only temporary and may make the problem worse. After all, conviction is the first work of the Holy Spirit!

John 16:7-8 (NIV) “But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I [Jesus] am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment.”

Jer 3:13 (NIV) “Only acknowledge your guilt…”

Out From the Dugout and Into the GameThe work of the Holy Spirit could be modeled after “running the bases” for home, as follows 1st base–Conviction, 2nd–Repentance, 3rd –Grace/Power,theHomeBase”

Stuck On FirstThose with real guilt problems have stalled out at first base. We must go through all the bases in order to come home, and our coach is encouraging us to run the entire circuit. Some would like to run straight to third base, others have sensed their own guilt but want to skip repentance and claim God’s grace and power. And so on…

2 Tim 2:5 (Jer) Take an athlete–he cannot win any crown unless he has kept all the rules of the contest.

2 Tim 2:5 (Jer) Take an athlete–he cannot win any crown unless he has kept all the rules of the contest

Off BaseMark 15:29-30 (NAS) And those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, wagging their heads, and saying, “Ha!.. save Yourself, and come down from the cross!”

Many are listening to the other team’s coach and the heckles coming from the stands. “Get off that guilt trip!” But it took some doing for God to make us sick of our sin. Will we let God complete what He has started, or will we stall out on first? Worse still, will we veer from conviction before ever getting to first base with God? In our counsel to others, whose team are we on?

C.H. Spurgeon: “There can be no grace where there is no guilt… You are such kind people that, out of complement to religion you say, ‘Yes, we are all sinners.’ But you know in your heart of hearts you do not mean it. You will never ask for grace [power]; for you have no sense of shame or guilt.”

Conviction is First Base in Our Love Affair with GodEzra 9:6 (NIV) “O my God, I am too ashamed and disgraced to lift up my face to you, my God, because our sins are higher than our heads and our guilt has reached to the heavens.”

Luke 18:13-14 (Phi) “But the tax collector stood in a distant corner, scarcely daring to look up to Heaven, and with a gesture of despair, said, ‘God, have mercy on a sinner like me.’ I assure you that he was the man who went home justified in God’s sight…”

Ecc 7:2-4 (NIV) It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.

Ps 13:1-2 (NIV) How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart?…

Home RunJer 31:9,12-13 (NIV) “They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble… They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord… They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more. Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Zeph 3:15-19 (NAS) The Lord has taken away His judgments against you… “Do not be afraid, O Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp. The Lord your God is in your midst… He will exult over you with joy… He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy… I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will turn their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.”

Isa 51:11-12,14 (NIV) “The ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. I, even I, am he who comforts you… The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack bread.”

Isa 60:1-2,4-5 (NIV) “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you… Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy…”

Isa 60:20 (NIV) Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.

I love you all my brothers and sisters in this world. May God Bless you all and help you, to once your forgiven of your sin, you can then forgive yourselves.

AAAAAAAh such an apt word Enrapture, it means (delight beyond measure) to describe what it is God makes me feel.Everyday I wake up, and again am delighted beyond measure by all that my God, my treasure, my rock, my heart, my life, the very air I breathe, reveals to me. Every moment I spend in constant communication with my God in Heaven and he rewards me with unspeakable joy unspeakable delight.unspeakable love. I read my bible and it is not reading it is living it. It is God sitting me down in the midst of wherever I am and he shows me all of history as I am reading it I am living it. He fills me with knowledge I could never have imagined myself  knowing. He tells my soul the answers to all of lifes questions. He brings me to heights of ecstasy I never imagined.

Oh how I wish I could make the world see and understand what it is I am trying to tell them about God. So many are blind to this little known fact and do not know what it is to completely, every second of every day hand your very life back to God. Keep in constant communication with him and nothing can ever go wrong. Why because he shows you what he wants of you. He fills you with knowledge of how to handle everything in your life. Even your scariest moments. He teaches you every day how to love him and live for him, Life on earth is but a vapor, eternity is a long long time to have to pay for turning him down on his offer of Love, his offering to you. Why would you want to say no to perfect everlasting love? A love you too can feel right here on earth. There is no amount of explaining to give you the correct descritption of what it is God offers you. He enthralls you, he makes your soul want to dance. He brings you ever clearer vision of what he is, who he is, the perfection that is He. The Almighty God in Heaven, Father over all, one father over all. As much as you love someone in your life, think of the person you love the most in your life, Now then know that God loves her or him more than ten times that amount ,but more importantly, God loves you more than that too.God Loves you more than anything else on earth. He wants to open a relationship with you that you have never dreamed possible.

I have so many friends these days who keep saying they are so tired of earth and want to go home. Well I share in that want of going home to meet my father face to face, to feel His great love the greatest love, not even close to being imaginable!! But I do not feel quite the same kind of rush on going home as some do. I am enjoying what God is doing to me here on earth right now. I am growing in his love and knowledge, and understanding every day. I am being shown new wonders daily. I read his word and understand it and feel it as though I am right there. He shows me always that He is right here with me. I trust him thats why. I trust him with everything. If I keep in constant communication with him how can I make a mistake, he will not let me. If I keep an open dialogue with him how can I lose out? If I am asking God all advice, on every single subject or occassion in my every day life, how can I go wrong? Do you have that open relation ship with the Lord? Have you surrendered totally? ask yourself have you surrendered your every fear, your every need, your every thought, over to him Totally? Are you my friends, allowing God to work and build you and mold your every single second of life on earth? Why arent you letting him handle that argument you just had with your child, your spouse, your boss, your friend? Do you allow anger to step in? Why? if you had God in your every moment you would not have gotten into that fight or argument. The Joy is in being loved to pieces I mean to splintering beyond measure rapture.

To never dream of going back to how you used to live. With spare moments of prayer? Why do you spare mere moments for your Lord God and not give him every second of your life back? Talking to God is like talking to yourself only he answers you with straight to your heart know it, knowledge. A knowing that is undeniable. He fills you with what to say, how to act, how to love, how to live, how to do it all according to his will. To surrender every day, to surrender every second better yet surrender every milisecond to him. It takes the same amount of time to talk to God as it does to think a thought. Pick up your cross and follow him. Do your service to the Lord with a smile on your face.No matter what hurts you may have inside you, let the Lord handle it. LET THE LORD HANDLE IT!!!!

Why friends and family do you let everyday battles bring you down? How is it that your every moment is not in complete joy? Who in your life do you say is taking your joy away from you? Please do not let anyone here on earth worry you so much that you will lose your joy in Gods hands,in handing it all over to the Lord. You are then assured to your soul that everything is going to be ok. Let God do the talking for you, through you. If you are in constant conversation with God the Father he will pour the right words out of your mouth. He will make the scenario to open the dialogue you need to open with to witness to that special someone you love, and have been praying fervently for. Or how to approach any situation you may find yourself in. With perfect love and understanding. This way all of our moments are taken care of and at the end of the day you do not find yourself hating this life so much. You can look forward to going home and learning about him more and having him show you so much more of himself.

Have you died to self today? Have you really? Let’s think about this hard and seriously. What does it mean to die? Well we know to die is to be present with the Lord, right? Ok so do dead people hurt? Do dead people get angry? Do the dead get impatient? Does the dead person worry? The answer to all of this is no right? So then if you have died to self today how is it you are allowing, worry, fear, anger and pain get to you? Why are you impatient for the Lords work to be done on that special someone, or even someone who is not close to you, whom you are praying for ? Why are you making yourself insane with worry and fear? I submit to you fear not for the Lord is with thee. Do you not trust the Lord to make all worries fears and anxieties better when you have DIED TO SELF? If you are dead then you are with the Lord, it is the same when you die to self and pick up your cross, God is watching out for you. Trsut him in all things,in all ways. Many people I have heard say, do not tell people they will not suffer anything, if they turn their lives over to the Lord, it may turn them away in the end. If they do suffer something for the Lords name, they will say pfffft this person told me I will not suffer if I hand over my life to the Lord, and look now, here I am hurting in pain and frustrated. I tell you the truth, if you submit your every moment to the Lords hands no matter the circumstance, he will see you through it. If you are suffering anything for Gods sake, then you are having another piece of your mansion made. If you are in service to the Lord, and are building his church up, here on earth, then your house is being built in Gods house. You work on Gods house, and he works on your house. You may suffer horrendously either mentally or physically here on earth, but no matter your suffering God is there holding you up.

He is pruning you, cutting off the dead branches that are doing you no good. That you will bear much more fruit. Refining you in the fire. Suffer in gladness that you are being refined, that you are worthy to suffer for the Lord. Know that God sees all knows all, he knows tomorrow and next year even. If you are going through something , know that God is growing you through it. If God is cutting things out of your life, he is just making room for the new things that are to come. More importantly trust that God kows best. If you can just trust that God knows best, then why are you worried? Know also that God does all things in his own time. He knows what is the perfect timing for all things to occur. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Ephesians 1:11, “He does all things out of the counsel of His own will.” ¬†Deuteronomy 29:29,”The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” I am enraptured,My heart has been captured. My will is not my own, knowing I never have to be alone, this gives me a great joy, The Love of the Father for every girl and boy, My sins from me removed, I have been reproved. Me he has chosen his words to my heart spoken The shepherd called me by name I will never be the same. I can never go back, nor do I wish to lose track, of all my father has shown me. I have been enthralled that I have been called, I am enchanted ,I have recanted my former beliefs. Now I know truth, I need not be a slueth, God has supplied all the answers. The answers he sent directly to my heart, I have had a great new start. I have been washed clean, my just look at this lovely sheen. I have been made anew, I never had a clue. I have been redeemed, who would ever have dreamed, That I could be found worthy, I have no more antipathy, towards anyone or anything. I have found freedom I am now worthy of his Kingdom. Praise you Father in Heaven
